a very lovely, rich, stylish, journey,,,, your music holds so much more than just for the ear alone,,,, i like this indeed! ps are those recorders or picaloes in accompaniment or something else? r
Sounds like a trip across Arizona to me. On a Harley. Love of your life on the buddy seat. Arms around you. Wind blowing. Hair flying. Center line markers clicking by. Lost in the motion.
2010 24 hour challenge. Record a 24 minute song in less then 24 hours.
Work has been so crazy music has been taking a back seat. I might have to try this concept again to get anything done on the creative side of things. :)
Hats off to you if you composed, performed and arranged this piece in 24 hrs!. Some transitions might be a little iffy (03:29 for instance) but the whole track is really good, and while varying a lot, it stays consistent all the way; some parts are kicking serious butt (06:10+). And the whole composition is simply excellent.
Probably one of my faves of all the pieces you've posted on here. Bravo! Fav'd & Dl'd.
THE WALK
I drove 400 miles that night
East of Dallas to Abilene
And the hopes that I held in my headlights
Were hopes like I'd never seen
She called me from work that afternoon
She said she'd be off about 2 AM
Said it would be nice…

RAGE a song by Jeff Prince
Smoke curls 'round her finger tips and rises toward the light
She crumbles up another pack and curses at the night
And that god-damned clock, Tik tok, tik tok, mocks her mournful face
From kitchen wall to kitchen…

Well, you are choosing your samples/sounds well. I really like what it all adds up to.
This is beautiful. Is that a harp?
Well, Dare I hope to do as well. But I'm sure going to do some experimenting.
That's the best synthesized strings I've ever heard that I know of. What are you doing them with?
Very mournful. Is that real violins? (pyropool@earthlink.net)
Holy. Wow.
Aww, this is fabulous.
Great sound, percussion is a perfect match
Gorgeous
most playful play, i enjoy hearing/feeling the finger dancing on the keyboard
I could listen to your music all day. Makes me remember good times, and warm spring days.
I am definitely listening to this on repeat when I go to bed. I am prepared for awesome dreams.

This really sets the ideas lose in my mind. Love the bass tempo setter...
It's like light reflected in falling water...very nice and soothing.
Yes. Wonderful, as ever :)

Many thanks to everyone; it's always easier to create something good, when the original already is brilliant.
Welcome back, richard. And again, many thanks for your kind words. And yes, you are right about the strings/piano/percs blend.
...sometimes does run smooth...
Nicely disturbing.
Perfect for a Sat' afternoon, after the grocery rush. "A national Acrobat" kicks ass!
Actually the breakdown is a piano, a synth-piano, music box, 2 guits, drums and an organ.
Experimenting's always fun! And a good way to broaden our vision.
That previous comment was mine; forgot to log in before posting, sorry for that.
Excellent tune! Fav'd and DL'd And no, unfortunately they're no real violins
Thanks for feeding my head. Totally trippy.
Really nice piece, once again. But too short.
Quite a trip! Dub away, dub away :)
Fits perfectly the description. Or is it the other way around...
Very soundrack-ish, well done!
Excellent!
Solo pieces are a lot harder than full orchestra, in many ways indeed. But this sounds very nice.
Very nice composition indeed.
