I’ve come this way like those before me
And those yet still to come
It fills me with a sense of wonder
To watch the rising sun
how many times
how many souls
Have acted out these scenes
It fills me with…

Good lyrics, good melody. It makes me think of two people; Eckhart Tolle for some of the lyrical concepts(Author of Power of Now) Doing is not the same as just being. Those lyrics kind of made me think of that a bit. And about the time I noticed you were from UK I could hear a John Lennon esque accent/quality to your voice. About 38 seconds. Good work anyway.

three fingered piano chord hopping and then bass on the juno di. and some singing too.
It’s a comedy of errors
It’s a d for disaster
There’s a comic on the stage
But there isn’t any laughter
There’s not even a hole
That can swallow him…

Take what you want
But keep your hands off my medication
I can get by without you
But not without them
And don’t you dare
Even think of taking my guitars
And don’t you care
Of the state you’ll leave…

this is one for the over fifties
we strolled along
lost avenues
with no regrets
and nonchalance
who's kidding who
so confident
so bold and full
of bravado
when we were young
we knew it all
with certainty
you couldn't tell
cos we couldn't hear…

On Norwegian shores
Neath the autumn sky
Sitting by the water’s edge
Counting bees and flies
I’ll soon be going home again
I’ll be saying goodbye to my friends
On Norwegian shores
The sunlight bright
See a million stars

i am thinking about words tonight
they can be hard as nails
they-can be as shapeless as water
they can break your heart
they can hang like a chain
hold you up for years
cause you to think twice
take away your fears
you are falling in love…

determined
