You can make things, break things
You can shake things up or down
You can twist it, can't resist it
You don't miss it when it's not around
It's not the time of year for making peace
It's the time of man, and his war machine
and his war machine…
This is the final track for the Metamorphis album, it is a musical soundscape, inspired by the Yorkshire Dales and the Moors. I have tried to paint a picture of the changing seasons and it should be taken in 1 minute sequences, 1 minute = 1 month…
I really enjoy the ascending "acoustic guitar" line about 20 seconds in (and all the sequenced falderal which surrounds it). Well, it isn't really falderal--I just can't think of a more suitable word!

Catch a rhythm with your dancing shoes
Catch a rhythm girl you got some moves
Catch a rhythm keep it in the groove
Catch a rhythm

Catch a rhythm just do your thing
Catch a rhythm and feel that swing
Catch a rhythm…

Grey skies, crow flies into the horizon
Birdcage, road rage what do you spend your wages on
All alone smart phone no-one you can ring
Peacocks, cats and dogs, the butterfly stings
Your friend indeed, my friend in need, another friend in debt…

Taking a few liberties with copywrite laws here, includes riff from Shakin all over, and the middle eight is house of the rising sun.I hope someone has a sense of humour
Hey there...I really enjoyed this one! Your voice reminds me a bit of the late great Kevin Ayers, and of course these Joe Meek songs are always a blast. Great how you mixed it up.
This track is from the 1986 Scartaglen album "The Middle Path". The first tune "Jezaig" was composed by Breton musician Gilles Le Bigot. The second tune is one of the "Cantigas de Santa Maria" and is attributed to King Alfonso X of Spain

Started out be an innocent little jazzy study in quartal harmony, but the DL4 was still in my signal path and things went downhill from there! Another done with my beloved '58 Stratotone
This is a live cut from an NPR radio broadcast back in 1988 while my Irish Trad group Scartaglen was on one of its first east coast tours. Found recently on a cassette tape. Musically this was one of my favorite periods in the history of the band…

The decending line is about the coolest musical concept. Ear candy, and it can be Major or minor scale.Love my effects, but there's no substitution for plain old technique.

Really liked that, I've had you on for the last hour or so, very pleasant
Some nice spacey fx on this, reverb and echo delicately used.
Wow, great, I've heard stuff like this before but it's usually by Irish folk, and it's really cool, love it.
Love it, very tongue in cheek. Amazing vocals.
Excellent stuff ... great vocals and general production. :)

Reminds me of Kraftwerk, one of my fav bands, hypnotic and melodic, really cool, thanks.
Great song
Nice playing ... thought it might have been a cover of a rock n roll song in the 50's (little bit before my time) but it wasn't!!
Like Latino blues, very nice enjoyed that
Quite Bowie-ish, strange but like it
Bleek and empty, love it. :)
