Mr X realises that he'll never be happy. He wants to be free from her "curse" and considers suicide. Then he sees her outside - she enters his house "unwelcomed" (in fact, he's taken her inside by force). He has a better idea.

In a hypomanic state, the schizophrenic has thoughts racing through his head; dogmatically he begins to think that everything has been set up by the universe for a reason.

Suggesting that he managed to get her to sleep with him, with her gone, he feels trapped inside his own feelings.

A seemingly nice man; a pretty young girl. The country forgotten, the people cold and without love. The protagonist is lost in his own thoughts. He sees the girl and falls in love; but she barely knows he exists. He begins to hallucinate about her.
