A collab on lyrics from the other-side......
Before i stumble and fall
Falling back through memories
I don't expect a soft landing
I'm staring at the tumbleweeds
remembering it all
i'm remembering it all
before I stumble and fall

This one's a bit of a ponderous beastie.
It can be whatever you want it to be. For me, it's got a lot to do with Sunday 18th June 1815.

This one is dedicated to my dear friend John. Thanks for changing my life for the better....
Also a big thanks to our own Greg Connor who helped me get the chords for my own uke accompaniment, and who kindly played the beautiful guitars…

Originally a homework assignment for an audio recording class, where we were asked to make a commercial using backing music, sound effects, and a voice over. The backing track was an in-progress version of "Neon Orange Dinosaur" from Beats + Noise.

In this track the guitar melodies and solos are based on an unusual scale John McLaughlin (of Mahavishnu Orchestra fame) liked to use. It's basically a Phrygian Dominant scale with the flat-6 removed.

You’re trapped inside you’re little world,
never grew up, still a girl...Yeah you’re the one

“Troubled Times” was written for Johnny Cash to sing. It is a partially true tale, like so many good ones. It features the existential question "Who first coined the phrase good grief? Such a phrase is beyond belief...."
