Sorry it took so long to comment back man. We took a few days off and checked out a few ghost town mines by Silverton. Killer song, really enjoyed it, and plan to hit it up again tonight as I become acclimated after sleeping at 9,000 plus for a few nights....to post more on your track in a few hours ;)

:) I almost put best subject matter for a song but that would have to go to Phonus Interuptus (spelling?) I love that song, actually best mix should go to all your recordings...your songs always sound so damn good!
Had these backing tracks laying around on my drive for a while and didn't know what to do with them, so grabbed my Ebow and a fretless electric that I built for myself a couple years ago and had a go. My fretless playing is really in its infancy…
Found this track from 1998 - I'm on a Time kick I guess...
Time waits for no one
We are all adrift
Finding ourselves in space
All Lost
Where is my Home?
Where is my Home?
Where is my Home?
Where is my Home?
Time waits for no…
Wrote all the lyrics and most of the melody for this song in one sitting during a particularly busy period in my life.
Just an indulgent little jazz tune poking fun at myself... those who know me well will instantly recognise the lyrics as…
An exercise in dissecting a well known song to see what makes it tick. Drums are looped, bass is not in tune, guitar is not quite right, but I'm slowly getting there. Will update this later. Somewhen...
It's not unusual to chase your girl around with a dull axe, is it? Just kidding - This was 60 tracks and almost a year to finish. I had some help:
Guitars: Tony W
Fadeout Solo: Gnasty
Acoustic/Rhythm Guitars: Me
Phone Message: Tony W &…
Well, I had this crazy idea that *maybe* Buddy Guy was using some microtonal inflections in his cover of Tramp (which are what the "blue notes" are and thought it would be cool to cover it with my fretless guitar. As it turned out it was my ear…
electric mandolin on 3 tracks - 2 bowed (right and left) with viola bow and 1 strummed just a bit and mostly ebowed (center)
Washburn bass
voice with effects
drum loops sliced and diced
We went to visit my dad at his assisted living facility and they have a Yamaha Clavinova on which I improvised for a half hour to provide some entertainment. This is a ~ 3 minute excerpt from about half way through. This was recorded on my Zoom…
Since Norm found himself in an acoustically great room, full of unfinished cabinets I couldn't help but add some acoustic guitar, crank it up and hope you like it Norm!
oh man, I really like this one. I had attempted a tune with this perc track using samples of other kitchen sounds but could never get it right. This sounds really good . nice collab guys !

K, the fretless was exactly what was needed. excellent playing as usual.

wow ! very cool, I like the big open smokey jazz lounge feel
fuzzfilth ! great tune. I think it sounds great as is.

cross-over rhythms are getting a little easier to follow, in large, do your your posts man ! keep em coming... sounding good.
wow, dude, I cant believe I missed this one, nice Ukulele - like the tone at the end and beginning.
great tune, well timed out and mixed too. I like the guitar notes and tone thoughout
Gritty, raw, cool Tramp tribute. I think the fretless guitar is excellent. perc matches the raw feel.
I like the subtle progression- almost a rick wakeman feel near the second part. I like the simple ending too.
wow, strings really fill up the room. Great sound !
Im glad to see you back ! tight rhythm and cool new Fx's. the new room sounds good - almost like cherry wood...
cool rhythm, sounds like some FX on the bass drum too?
Nice improv. Something also to be said about doing songs in different locations too. background voices a plus.
