Enjoying a few tracks on this site with Indian flavor lately. My brothers legs were so red from slapping them to get the perc sounds in this track, I had to laugh, That alone was worth doing the song ;)

Recording some match lighting samples recently and felt compelled to put some music to it.
I put the mic up to some raw acoustic guitar. Bass and lead added with FX. Norm added percussion, making it sound waaaay better.

Thanks guys for the comments. Yes, Norm is my brother he did the percussion on this track. The other tracks are 2 stereo tracks for guitar and a 3rd for the sitar sample ( I wish I had a real one to play!)

The B side to Dad's father's day present. This is an instrumental celebration of his 45 years in the printing industry, and an acknowledgement that while other kids got bedtime stories, I got the history of lithography..
first my apologies to J. Pachabell
second, my very best wishes to all my AT friends who make sharing music here so wonderful,, hope your holiday season is most wonderful and filled with love, peace to us all r
I went over to Reg's place the other day and he sort of scared me. He was out on his deck, pitching butts and spilling gin that he couldn't afford. He was a mess and had a crazed look in his eyes. I could tell he was ruminating again about…
More ambient experimentation with my fretless guitar and Roland GR20. This time I used some sounds from the magnetic pickups as well as the midi pickup. Kind of a cheesy synth patch I know, but it was working for me!
I was lucky enough to have a trip to YAP a part of the Federated States of Micronesia,, once again the music is from my piano solos but here it is attached to a video i made

Thanks for the comments on darkness, The background/ foreground feel was done by recording mono tracks and then coming in with the contrasting stereo tracks for the open parts with vox

Welcome to AT Eloise! You have really earned your stripes collaborating with reg right out of the shoot.
If I didnt know reg, i would have started a scuffle on the dance floor right about the time he started doing the crab with you. However, as Reg is an old friend, I am offering him a Guinness for his smoothness. -fantastic energy/vox reg

A quickly improvised tune with some stream-of-consciousness lyrics. Written/recorded hastily in the dead of night on Tuesday 11/27 with a short overdub session on Thursday 11/29, when I should have been sleeping.
All basic tracks…
Agree with slkrell on this one.
I guess its time to start DL ing for this years x mas playlist
well done, i dont think ive ever gotten past 9 ladies dancing ;)
A bit of improv done yesterday with my newly refurbished fretless guitar. Finally got the midi pickup to track almost right! Part of the sounds were gotten by rubbing a teaspoon on the strings.

Enjoyed that, indeed.
Love that guitar - understated, but you can't miss it because it's perfect.
Very hot and ice cool, all at once. Bad in a bath, good in a song!
Oh yeah! Clever fusion of musical styles. Love the spicy feel! Great ending also, showcases the fabulous percussion that I almost missed.
wow man! Brilliant. Is there really such a place as highupin Colorodo? Indian style music is def. a good choice to compose with.

Precision percussion. Crisp recording. Can hear the fingers. Love it. Without seeing this performance in person it is hard to believe it... :)
