Hi Richard, the tuning I used for the Magic of Belief has much more than major or minor and I used almost all of the. The opening plays with the chords CDG, CEbG CEb^G (a "neutral" third about half way between minor and major) and CEG (except the E is a purer 3rd than 12 equal)
The main motive bottoms out at what my ears are telling me is a neutral interval against a D neutral chord (but I'm not 100% sure, I didn't work it out - could be D minor)

Richard, I have enjoyed every second of your magical journey through midi. It has been utter bliss to hear all of them together.
Congratulations on a superb album.

Girls! Women! Birds! Chicks! This song's about all the pretty girls out there (and you know who you are)! This song celebrates each and everyone of them.
another fun song-- nice instrumental tracks,, my only comment is that the vocal and instrumental seem to be just about the same volume level,, meaning each seems to be competing with each other without either one taking the lead,,
Inspired by the book Musicophilia by Oliver Sacks. An earworm (or brainworm as Sacks espouses) is that catchy melody that sticks in your brain that you just can't shake.
"upbeat pop-rock" to be sure,, earworm is a fun little tune that just boars into you.... though the volume seem a little low to me -- compared to other music on the site

Stopped back for another listen.

The pipes and the little Latin flourishes in the melody reminds my of Ennio Morocone. Only slightly though because it also sounds very unique :)
Missed this one too? What? How beautiful! Richard, you have a beautiful gift. w;-)
How did I miss this?! Gorgeous! w;-)
Welcome back, richard. And again, many thanks for your kind words. And yes, you are right about the strings/piano/percs blend.
I love this piece. There's something very special about it.
Overture indeed! Bravo!
This is a masterpiece!
Oh my, this is gorgeous!
Missed this one somehow. Gorgeous as always!

Nice mellow track, what instrument is that?
Great guitar, your voice matches up well with the music, carnival ending is nice

Very nice,, with my sound/speakers it's hard for me to clearly hear the vocals,, but the music is well played and very interesting,
Pure Magic....like most good instrumentals,, they begin with a good simple main theme, and then follow through with interesting variations
and about 5 min into the piece it goes rock,, what more can you ask!!!
very evocative, soulful, bluesy, and a little jazzy like a liquid poem
No. 3 is a sweet,thoughtful piece
Interesting,,,sweet and pastoral
