My kids told me to buck up, all my songs to date were dreary, kids eh! This is the acoustic version of this song. When you're bored with this, I'll upload the upbeat one
I listened to the versions back to back.
The electric version has some pretty neat aspects to it, like the drum track, and the distorted guitar.
I'm still leaning toward the acoustic version. I like the acoustic guitar, and the overall feel of it.
Of course, I'm getting to be an old fart. Maybe that has something to do with it.

How you gonna sleep when you're never sound?
How you gonna keep you fever down?
Your an eyeful
How you gonna walk when you never run?
Chip off the block your father's son
You're an eye sore
And I wonder if I'll bend under
The weight of…
Last night I dreamed I was a dancer
In an old off Broadway show
And I danced with the girls in balcony
And I sang to the mezzanine row
It was Tin Pan Alley and Salvador Dali
At the curtain the crowd leapt to their feet
And I bowed and I…

I feel sharp and I feel dull,
This amphetamine's gonna steal my soul.
The trains a blur, I empathize…
Greg Connor added his amazing harp to the song. It really adds depth to it. I love Greg's playing on the song. Thanks so much, Greg! This is why Alonetone is great.

I count my blessings…
Found this old track while backing up my hard drive. It is an alternate tracked played at a slower tempo. I added a quick drum track and ruff remix this morning.
This was done in the aftermath of an evening out with Lady Jane,The two Regs and Jip 1965 which left me in a state i may never recover from and come to think of it may never remember haha
Anyway thanks for a great evening in and out and......until…
Part of a collaborative effort done here. My friend sent me these guitar parts which I arranged, twisted and morphed to create this. I added the percussion and other non musical elements thanks to my kids playing while I was experimenting with…
