So... Reichenbach is now called **Reichatron**.
I felt that the new sonic mangling possibilities of the ensemble were reminiscent of a Japanese monster movie than a composer of beautifully intricate harmonies.

I think I may have gone too far!
I've been working on the Reichenbach signal chain to include filtering, distortion, EQ, and a resonator. I've also switched out the delay and gone hog wild with modulation.
This piece shows how way out the…

A rather more fundamentally experimental piece with Reichenbach's new *drift* mode. In this mode a probability matrix controls periodic changes in the loop length and/or position.

Another of [Ronnie's Mixed Bag](http://rekkerd.org/) samples (this one called `120_hollow_01`) and another version of my Reichenbach ensemble for Reaktor.
The major difference here is the addition of playback modes and, in this case, the *slicer…
ok, that was an interesting comment by Sister. hehe...me and my visualizing things and all...I pictured raindrops coming to life and breaking into cars and what not. lol...

This is a short experiment with Version 0.99.9 of my *Reichenbach* phase-shifted looping Reaktor ensemble (try saying that 3 times fast!)
I took a 2 second long piano sample and fed it into the loopers which were running at 0.98x, 1.0x, and…
Another experiment with Reichenbach, my phase-shited looping ensemble for Reaktor 5. This time I fed it a sample from the [Rekkerd.org](http://rekkerd.org/downloads/) mixed bag selection #2 called `106_sandylines_01.wav`.
I let the sample play…
I swore that I would NEVER upload this. Was having a bad day trying to loop "nice" acoustic guitar sounds and got frustrated so grabbed my Taylor and plugged it into a cheesy Effects box and straight into the looper. Started twiddling knobs and…
Ok, I have decided to put it here. It is a stretch containing several ideas, it falls apart here and there (especially at 3:10), but I think the atmosphere shines through.
Hope I can return to it in a couple of weeks (when my head is clear…
I really enjoyed this track, it's got a great groove and lovely sound. I didn't notice anything untoward around 3:10 although I confess I wasn't listening totally focused so maybe I missed something. For a work in progress I'd have to say this sounded pretty polished and I look forward to future mixes.
electric mandolin on 3 tracks - 2 bowed (right and left) with viola bow and 1 strummed just a bit and mostly ebowed (center)
Washburn bass
voice with effects
drum loops sliced and diced
For improv friday
This is part 2 - see Keys at Lowes for an explanation of what I'm trying to do.
Ok, another try using base frequencies of 0.1, 3, 10, 17, 33 and 48 Hz spread in stereo space plus some of the original mixed in. (additional…
This is right up my street, you're really getting some fabulous timbres out of this. I tried the improvFriday site a couple of weeks ago but really had no idea what I was doing.

I did an experiment using Paul's Extreme Stretch harmonics function and Audacity.
I took a raw field recording (included here field recording http://notonlymusic.com/board/download/file.php?id=1187 ) and ran it through…
Comments on Mr Sandbags's stuff
Interesting looking interface for that software in your video...
I love how when I read your descriptions I feel as if I'm in a modern music school! :)
Jasmine Savage says, 'That's nice!' (She doesn't have her own log in.)
You are getting there mate sounds good
Very cool sounds, but I think you'd better look out your window because the villagers are coming and they're carrying torches and clubs!
What's in your attic?
Cool sounds you are getting here mate dig it.
nice stuff. this is very experimental work.
great weird stuff sandbags. keep making more of it.
Thanks folks, your comments made me smile :)
This is weird, but very cool. Like listening to some heated argument in an alien language!
More coolness. Something that rewards repeated listens.
If Dali made music this is what it would be like. nice but disturbing
Some kind of underground bug conference, with drinks.
Well I think its all going in the right direction mate
All your stuff is like a big abstract soundtrack, it's great stuff, you should do a film with all of it in!
ok, that was an interesting comment by Sister. hehe...me and my visualizing things and all...I pictured raindrops coming to life and breaking into cars and what not. lol...
Raindrops...turning to crime.
Beautiful mate nice one.
Another very cool one mate

I can't put it any better than m'friend & colleague WS.
I'm still trying to get my head around improvFriday but I'm definitely going to give it another try if I can listen to you playing this kind of stuff!
Love your new sound :)
This isn't the kind of thing I'd normally go for but i like the sound and, as osckilo says, vibe you've got going on in this track.
Fun stuff.
Nice... and too short :)
Good stuff.
Great loop!
Well I enjoyed this.
Sounds good to me man!
Great track Bruce, really enjoyed that.
Cool sound.

Great song guys.
Enjoyed that.
Wish I could come along to one of your rehearsals!
Great track, esp. love the section starting around ~1:45 and the bass, and the synth, and oh everything :)
Oh man, i was just getting into that when it faded..!

Arthur C. Clarke once wrote "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic". This was truly magical my friend :)
