Another of [Ronnie's Mixed Bag](http://rekkerd.org/) samples (this one called `120_hollow_01`) and another version of my Reichenbach ensemble for Reaktor.
The major difference here is the addition of playback modes and, in this case, the *slicer…
This is a short experiment with Version 0.99.9 of my *Reichenbach* phase-shifted looping Reaktor ensemble (try saying that 3 times fast!)
I took a 2 second long piano sample and fed it into the loopers which were running at 0.98x, 1.0x, and…
Another experiment with Reichenbach, my phase-shited looping ensemble for Reaktor 5. This time I fed it a sample from the [Rekkerd.org](http://rekkerd.org/downloads/) mixed bag selection #2 called `106_sandylines_01.wav`.
I let the sample play…

This is a track I've been working on for quite a while so I am glad to finally have it out of my head.
I have a kind of love/hate relationship with time and its humble functionary, the clock. Ticking, in particular, is something I am ambivalent…
I clicked on more so I started from the beg. again. As I am listening...with the idea of a video running through my mind:
man in room. His face gradually becomes more frantic as the clocks increase. Images of his life flash before his eyes very rapidly to reflect the following spoken words;
The clocks.....the clocks won't stop.
They remind me of my brevity.
As I approach the end of my time...
The clocks...the clocks go faster and
faster! Yelling in my ears....laughing
and taunting me!
I see everyone that's come and gone..
I see years and years ago...as if it
were only minutes ago.
Moments which made me smile and laugh
now make me sad and cry...
Time...time...ticking endlessly...
Does it ever really stop?
Time is now the wild beast which chases us through space...no longer is it
the tigers and bears. It's time which rips
and tears.
Images flow with the clocks...speeding up
and slowing down. I wish I could animate a tiger-clock. lol..a clock shaped like a tiger chasing someone.

Did you include that clock which was recently made to last for 10,000 years>? The most precise clock ever created? It's probably mostly silent....soo.. hehe. You should do a video for this one...

Well now, this is actually a very old track, made back in March '09 and not that long after I started learning piano.
I was learning a very simple 12-bar blues piece and getting bored with the piano sound I started messing about with the Logic…

...after listening at about 5:40 I detected I live inside a clock. No - many clocks. Going mad with it/them... P.S. Better to listen [tick] in headphones or - even better [tick-tack] - thru studio monitors, loudddddd.

I feel like I'm aloft and tumbling wildly across vistas of 80's virtual reality grids as I'm listening to this like Tron meets a bad case of sunstroke. Nice use of pitch.
A demo track for a new Reaktor instrument I'm building codename: Mimetron.
Loop Guitar 1 is a long, flowing, ambient piece. Mellow with a few moments of grit.
Mimetron is a 3 voice sampler that is driven by incoming audio. It has 3 channels…
Thanks for the nice comments my friends. I've been away (for various reasons) from music for some time and this is one of my first few forays back. Trying to recapture my spirit of adventure!
This is the first track made with my new Reaktor instrument 'Super Scanoid' which might just have well been named '1950s Sci-Fi Soundtrack Generator".

Two guitar tracks, lots of effects and some beer.
For the gear heads, the effects list was:
EHX - Freeze
EHX - Memory Man with Hazarai
TC - Hall of Fame Reverb
Digitech - JamMan Stereo
TC/PGS - Trinity Reverb
xotic - EP booster
NI - Guitar Rig 4
I'm playing with making short animated movies (about 1 minute long at the moment) using ArtMatic and Studio Artist. This is a track composed to go with one of those movies.
It uses an original violin sample from Markus Czwiertnia.
I love the music and tone of this one. The way the opening draws you in, the tension of the strings, and the rising, sucking, synth almost like someone whistling across a wasteland. Yet the strings bring you back! The whole thing is more than the sum of its parts.
After a long summer of doing stuff other than recording it was time to get back on the horse.
Sonically, this isn't much of a departure but I am trying a couple of new things technically.
One it that I spent more time on the drums (an achilles…
Has a feeling of being in between places, like looking out of the window on a long train journey. I think the drums work quite well. Good stuff, welcome back :)
I'm trying to experiment with intentionally combining two different sounds. Since I seem to find this difficult I am starting with using a drone as one of the sounds taking my inspiration from the opening tracks of the Brian Eno & Jah Wobble…
I agree it's a bit shrill in places. This track is actually one of the few times I've thought I shouldn't just publish but should polish. I often struggle with this feeling and - as with this track - lose.

Thanks for the positive thoughts. I'm getting some odd distortions on playing here this morning that I didn't notice in the original (esp. since this piece doesn't play "hot"). They're not supposed to be there. Odd.
Comments on Mr Sandbags's stuff
Well done mate very cool
Very pretty!
Very very cool.
this should be on every astronaut's ipod. keep up the good work fella. I'd like to hear what else you have to offer us.
Peaceful and vibrant. Nice work!

Really interesting composition, very cleverly put together.
This gives me the chills. You should be doing this for money.
I love this! It would be fabulous with dance choreographed. You are a very interesting thinker!

Very cool. Enjoyed reading the notes, it's obvious you put a lot of work into it.
Time well spent.
Great job. Who would have thought that eight minutes of clock sounds could be that interesting. Love the way it builds.
Tick tock make it stop. This is just utterly creepy. Smashing job, Sir!
That's madness for sure mate great track
I have been waiting to hear this ever since you requested clock samples in the forums. Gotta love the creativity. Extremely well done.
Bravo! I found myself startled by some of the clocks and looking to the side. Mission well executed.
this is some good stuff.
This is awesome!

Thanks for the kind words folks, gave me a lift :)

Thanks Len. Looks like I have a lot of your uploads to catch up on!
Hmmm listening in headphones there's very little movement which creates a disappointingly static impression. Something to work on.
Thanks guys, inebriated waveforms could be said to be the speciality of the house!
This does have a Sci-fi feel to it. I think it fits right in with Voyager-1 leaving our solar system.
Why thank you all, glad you like :)
Think maybe we should do an extended version one day :)
Ah that last comment was from me, didn't notice I wasn't logged in.
Like it.
Great drone, love the percussion, cool track!

Drama is clearly good for you :)
That was really good Steve. One strangeness: the track is listed as being 6:16 long but stops (seemingly naturally) at 5:52.
That was awesome guys.
