You can stay here Terry, no problem. (smile)
Love the tune but in today's world I think I'd be sleeping with one eye open if I let a perfect stranger spend the night. I've done it with people I kinda know and not all the time but most the time I got rip off or after a period time I could see I was being taken advantage of and when I'd tell them it's time to move on they'd get hostile. But I agree with the sentiment . I've been on both ends.
THE WALK
I drove 400 miles that night
East of Dallas to Abilene
And the hopes that I held in my headlights
Were hopes like I'd never seen
She called me from work that afternoon
She said she'd be off about 2 AM
Said it would be nice…
ROCKS - James Michael Taylor
How many times have you
heard someone say,
"This is gonna last forever"
How many times have you
scratched your head
and said a silent, "Never."
There's a rock in Yosemite
that might just stand the test
Rocks…
HONEY CHILD
I see your eyes inquiring, without a word
Will I stick around or fly like a bird
Maybe I’ll stay a while
Silhouettes colliding. Luminescent sparks
Crazy hoofbeats pounding. Trailblazing hearts
We’ll ride in style, this winding…
I had this on Alonetone before but accidentally deleted it. This version has been remixed and mastered with different plugins.
A bluesy acoustic tune with a slide guitar and banjo. Wrote the tune a long time ago, forgot it, remembered it when…
Florencia - I would telll you the chords
but I don't know what they are...
The tide is going out in Avila
I can feel it in my blood
Here I am in South beach Florida
Just like you knew I would
Florencia, I've been waiting…
I'd been following the Euro horsemeat scandal since it broke in the UK some time ago. But the songwriter in me didn't react until Ikea found pony in their Swedish meatballs the other day.

I’m a lucky boy
I’m filled with joy
I got angels guiding me
Happens every time
I don’t walk that line
Seems to work out splendidly
Stop and look around

Ain’t no better can be found…
Steve Krell (SLKrell) and I have been feuding over the same girlfriend for a while now. In fact, there are several songs about her on Alonetone. Here is the latest in the story:
SLKrell says it’s a drag
Rosie made him pack his bag

SOLITARY WALK
I am a child of Judah
and the mark of Cain is on me
I am a fugitive in every place I go.
and my name is Joseph Friedman
and I tend the olive orchards
on a hillside just a short walk from my home.
There, the silver trunks…

Wake up in the morning, I’m still in my cloths
I got one eye open but the other wont go
Barely can remember the night before
Except for how you threw me out the door
Whiskey, Whiskey, Whiskey

Oh it caught me by surprise
I Looked into your pretty eyes
Nothing more than a simple kiss
And a moment like this
We don’t need no fancy cars
Diamond Rings that shine like stars
You never really asked for more
Than moments…
