Flowers Under The Snow - Written By Greg Connor

These G late winter blues just keep C coming G around
Em Day after C day, no G relief to be D found
G I’d give anything for a C warm sunny G day
But Em it never C seems to D turn out that G way

The G wind keeps blowing that C dusty G snow
I Em wish it was C time for G winter to D go
The G cold keeps pounding C through the G door
Em I’m not C sure I can D take any G more

There are C flowers Em under the G snow
C Waiting for Em springtime to G bloom I D know
C Gray days Em soon to be G memories C
G Flowers as far as my D eyes can G see

G Hard to imagine, but it C may be G true
Em Temperature’s C rising, the G mercury D too
G Warm winter wind, with C melt all G around
Em Everywhere C I hear that D dripping G sound

This is a pretty one! Is that you on the banjo and recorder too? Can't wait to see flowers just like you sing about.

Greg- the song made it's world premier tonite at the Saint Petersburg Country Club's monthly gathering and dance. (Nothing to do with golf, just aficionados of American country music.) It got the whole crowd out waltzing on the dance floor and folks really enjoyed it (they mostly understand enough English). So you are soon gonna be famous in Russia .

What can I say? Спасибо, мой друг! (Thank you, my friend!). So nice to hear that whilst sitting in the airport heading for Prague... where it's still winter, but a bit less!
