the Meth will take it’s toll

the reward is to the reaper
he sits to varnish his souls
polishing his pride in the never ending tide of the torment of her ride

into the torment of time
a complexion of pot hole scabs to be picked
as her voice babbles the torment out to the deaf

as she again gets down to her knees

This is tough love if there really is a God up above

The dollars they pay for one more hit
as she gets up from her knees
she spits out his mess
there is no more love
in the town of Meth and the misunderstood

It creeps on the city
Eating alive its prey
no more dawn just darkness and total dismay
how low the soul of a person can go
when the Meth turns it high into a low

There is no help, no pity for there lost souls
they are the dirt under the finger nail of conservative life
buried in squalor hidden from view
the termite of society eating its glue

Slowly the plague will eat up the broken
casualties in a war thats misunderstood
The war on drugs it does not work
society needs to find the solution
before the plague overtakes the population
