you tell me what you want
you tell what you need
i cant give you nothing honey
but this pretty little seed
where has the sun gone
and is it gone forever
will it come back someday
should we just give it some time
i ask you what…
when i was 18 i took in a runaway
she crawled into my bed on the 7th day
i played her music and i cooked her food
i did everything i thought i should
i let her sleep late and i paid her way
then her dad showed up one day
well she had grown…

you are like the rain that falls with the snow
or is it the other way around
i dont know
all i know is i love you
and cant get above you
it is driving with no place to go
the muscle and the bone i find
that keeps my heart in line
just…

i saw the curtains changing color
i watched the sun room come alive
i have been sitting in this rocker
wondering when you might arrive
i am hoping for redemption
cant stand the way i feel
i know it is only passing through me
rivers flood…
thanks
yes, this were recorded for the rpm challenge. i only drew on my note books for two songs and just for inspiration. i had already meet the 35 minutes of music requerment for the project but felt the subject of my friends death last february (shadow of the son) needed to be adressed. what a great experience (rpm)

well i have a special spot in my heart for arizona. i also have headphones that fade in and out at times so your mix is messing with my head. i realize it is you and not me. i see the heat has effected you as well. the horns work well. the choral thing at the end is sweet
thanks

Album: How the Aviator Sees the Rainbow
Year: RPM Challenge 2008
Pour vous Tess.
Is there a ghost in these hills?
Something to run from
I've given way to cheap thrills
Problems have just begun
I walk alone, sink like a stone in…
gypsies in the night around a fire. you show upload your words and put them under the "about" tab. i am not always sure what you are saying. i like to know what people are saying. call me paranoid!!!! funny little organ in the background

Using the fox trot beat from the 1958 record album "Rhythm Accompaniment", with the composer on all other instruments. Written and recorded in February 2009 for the RPM Challenge.
this works really well. i can easily see myself ......walking! birds on that wire. i like the way you have chosen to arrange it with the subtle builds

I'm working on a March RPM... it is "record per month" after all, is it not? So, this month I plan to expand on some ideas with glubotic... I hope to make the album a full hour.
this song was inspired from an ee cummings poem. it was composed for rpm 2009.
lyrics:
i'll tell you a dream i had once
up in the sky blue everything
flying away a kite on a string
i didn't have anything
i was cool you were warm…
great mix . you should publish your words under the "about" tab. it would be so good to read along. it really is important and you will get more folks to liaten.....really
this is a really good song i am digging your metafore

My song about the hazards of the Missouri River.
A snag is an above water branch and a sawyer is a below water log or branch. Hence, "Tom Sawyer," from Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens).
