What always strikes me when listening to music here is how greatly different what people choose to make for themselves is to the commercially available mass-produced stuff. And so much more entertaining for it. This is a unique and enjoyable listen, uh Tipu.
Nice tonal qualities. Provides a nice mid range ambience greeted every now and then with a high register tone to bring some diversity to the mix. Nice man! good work!
I mope about my problems, and then realize how insignificant they are compared to people who aren't as well off. And that my life is relatively excellent.
Then I end up feeling really bad, but at least not whiny.

I've always loved Trip-hop, it feels so... self-centered, like an idea that has been self-conspired and wrapped in unhackable personal meanings. And the amazing atmospheres. So why not a conspiring trip-hop song?!
Kennedy's speech was suggested…
Made completely out of random public domain samples that i could find, using audacity portable. Didnt have my laptop but just wanted to make something, and it sounds arite
Ahh, drone. Funny how extremely slow, repetitive, yet heavy phased guitars drown out the world and still make a melodious impact. Technically not much I would agree, but after listening to Xela's recitation, man, it just moves me.
There is a done…
Random mischief. Ableton died halfway, so couldn't mix drums and bass properly. Ofcourse, then I rage and delete every Ableton file on the laptop. Heh, TMI.
A meditation of sorts.
Arose from experimentation with a technique described here

This is a single take with a bunch of reverb added after the fact in Reaper (also an experiment…
I accidentally started two tracks on alonetone in different tabs. Your track and Movement to Contact's "Coffee with a Little Sugar". Do it :D http://alonetone.com/mtcband/tracks/coffee-with-a-little-sugar-by-norm
Maybe I missed a career scoring for no budget spaghetti westerns, because this is what this reminds me of. Done live a couple weeks ago with the Taylor and a floor full of toys and loopers.
I would opt for MetaZen (http://metazen1.bandcamp.com/track/moonsucker), a really soft trip-hop style rapper but I don't think I could reel him in here haha. Oh well, its a really nice, tight track regardless!
Ditty #10 for RPMC. I really had a hard time trying to come up with the final track, so I fell back on the old loop/delay/ebow improv formula, which I had hoped to avoid on this album. Kind of acoustic Breaking Light. Well it crossed the finish…
Another Live performance with former band mates in Scartaglen back in 1988 on the NPR show Mountain Stage. This time a piece of Gaelic mouth music followed by 3 reels. Maybe the most complex arrangement of a set of tunes that we ever did.
I was depressed at my caliber of friends when I had a drug problem. This was the result.

Most my friends are hooked on phonics
Most my friends stick to the comics page

Very, very nice. w;-)
Transition from the bellarus-steel mill mash to a chaotic soundscape is most effective. top track!
Nice slow trudge-along tone, clearly you made and took advantage of room for improvisation. I especially like the occasional glitch.
Awesome instrumentation, the soundscape keeps chaotic but dreamy, and everything is mixed very well
Great sample. No wonder he got his head blown off!

The guitar drifts away as if in a dream the ship sails into a sunset.

Wow, this reminds me of some epic sci-fi soundtracks, ala Hans Zimmer and occasionally Philip Glass
the 'about me' picture pretty much summed it up heh. favourited.
great album!
Loving the back ambience in the later half of the song. Very seductive.
70's prog rock organ-ish synths, nice.
...and the beatboxing.
Loving the mellow scratches!
Reminds me of Sixtyniner (Boards of Canada). And yes, this should definitely have a loop button
I love this track so much. Such a nice track, one of my favs of all time!
Nice, reminds me of Smashing Pumpkins and Skinny Puppy. The feeling comes right through!
