I've been really into soundtracks for the past few days, especially those for action games and the notion of having a static, subtle track run over unpredictable game actions and still making the whole thing work.
So this was made with that…
Have just been listening to this on *small voice* another site... :) Love the percussion and the tension in the rising arrangement. The windchimes(?) at the end are a magical, rejuvenating touch. Very expressive and original. Great track.
Rather, it includes Norm's excellent track Pilón For A New Son (http://alonetone.com/norm/tracks/piln-for-a-new-son). Was trying to find out how less I can get away with in rhythms while still having enough flow. Feedback welcomed :)

@Norm: Thanks! Yeah I can see what you mean, I love trying to implement other ideas in my music, trying to adapt to new styles etc. Lots of fun. Suffice it to say I'll be using more of your tracks in the future :)

Whoa! That's awesome Tipu!
A big part of the fun for me at AT is tying my patterns to helium balloons and releasing them onto the interweb - there is no telling where they will ever end up or what (if anything) ever becomes of them.
But sometimes somebody nabs one and sends it back so different, so evolved and so reconsidered that I hardly can recognize it. Heard from a completely different clave (or phase shift) with fresh new perspectives (not to mention wonderful mixing, mashing and effects) for vintage patterns. Heard for the first time again...
Yeah, I wax poetic. But man, I just love that.

Cascadia is the first solo work written and recorded by Andrew Davis. This funky instrumental blend of folk, rock and jazz features mandolin, acoustic and electric guitar, banjo, bass, and varied percussion. Enjoy!

What if Sleeping Beauty was visited by a couple of fortune hunters? And what if those fortune hunters got into an argument? Colin Garvey did a super job with this song, and I raise a glass to him. Many thanks to you, my friend.

Funky little ditty. John, Paul & George made poor Ringo carry around the bucket full of the creamy mess they made from all the, well, lovin' they did. This is for him
mellow guitars, subtle e-bowing that almost sounds like a soprano = instant fav (...paintbrush you say...hmmm). can't get enough of those light string hits too.
More bad news on the TV delivered by the beautiful news reader to soften the blow.......its all too much....a double dip recession ......a government filled with corruption a sunday paper filled with the Rich.............
Recession
Blank mind…
THE TABLE by Jeff Prince
Funny, running into you this way after all these years
You hardly aged a single day except those lines around your eyes when you smile. She laughs as she recalls the girl that she was and the boy who chased her around…
This is a mess but when we tried to clean it up it killed the spirit of it so we decided to just take off our critics hat and just enjoy the energy of it.
FOREVER by James Michael Taylor
My baby say she loves me. Gonna love me forever…
"I don't know, but I been told, Gingerbread Woman won't ever grow mold... She keeps me dancing with her lovin'... I'm a loaf right in her oven..."
(From my 2008 album, Free Range Humans)
Have you ever been let down badly by that so called friend and lost hope in the very idea of friendship........
I Need a friend (Lyrics)
I need a friend who doesn’t need me
i need a friend who doesn’t bleed me
i need a friend who doesn’t hurt…

I like the atmospheric nature of this one -- it creates a nice soundscape to zone out to.
Lovely sound here guys.
Hypnotic!
Works really well! Rather like a Sunday morning, comes to mind with the bells in the air.
Pretty nice and well mixed.
Tong Drum Dream scape alla Norm.Nice

cool stuff :)
Really nice
Nice remix and additions Tipu!
I like the minor and simple theme of this one.
excellent track, continually builds upward into a chaotic pulse but you manage to keep it uncluttered.
Nice build, worth the wait.
Sounds looping good to me!
Nice one, like what you've done with this.
Cool mix.
Well you geek on then it sounds great!

Nice, got some early Delerium vibes from this
very futuristic bar/club sounding
nice, reminds me of Hammock and Eno/Fripp collabs
Very laid-back, enjoying the album more and more...
haha, I was sure somebody would've commented about the distorted guitars. Great work, very well thought out!
Like the mute guitars
Like the simple groove that just instantly hooks on, and the rising drama in the later bit of the song.
Really like the discordant instruments here, not a lot of people attempt it. Props!
Love glass bells, especially the linger they make after the hit. Them and organs.

Nice lyrics, epic delivery, and very noir-y music! Enough to motivate a caped crusader's adventure imo.
Amazing, very vivid narrative. And the music could not complement it any better.
Mess? I hear no mess here. I hear a good time.
Nice, love how clean the guitars are and how everything is mixed.
looking forward to the whole thing!
love the bass groove and lead guitars
it ended too soon though...
The vocals sound pretty good imho. And the mix feels great overall!
Liking the lyrics here, intrigued...
yep, been in that position a couple of times. Guess the trick is to not take life so seriously.
