Thank you, Tess! I remember finishing RPM last year thinking this was the weakest track of the bunch, but it pleases me to no end that you still liked it on a revisit 11 months later. :-)
Do you remember those in your past who made your life more magical?

Wave 2010 (RPM)
Remastered version, June 2010.
NEW VERSION (25 Jan 2011) Just me getting ready for RPM 2011. Of course this song will not appear on my RPM album. Version 1 was extremely rough, this one much less so. I don't cringe as much when I listen to this version! The lyrics were jotted…
This was a warm-up song I did in January 2010 in preparation for my February RPM Project, "Wave". I was just trying to get a vibe going and wasn't focusing on anything lyrically, hence why the title is also the only line in the song.

thanks for the heads up on jandek and Negativland, will throw them in the mix.
I use groove shark for all that label music type stuff, you know, those signed or indie label bands that cant just put their stuff on alonetone..I feel bad for them in a way.

Wave 2010 (RPM)
Remastered version, June 2010.
Written and Recorded: Feb 24-25, 2010
Details: Lap Steel (FCFFCF), Epiphone Les Paul (FBbEbAbCF), Seymour Duncan Pickups, POD XT, Boss RC-20 Looper, Audacity...all fingers, no picks.
Just never got this one sounding like I envisioned it…
A Halloween collab we did last fall that I thought was pretty cool. Designed to scare old ladies and make babies cry :) I love the way the song peters off in the end.
All tracks recorded with the Boss Micro BR, mixed with Audacity and mastered…
I mostly wanted to make music with a funky clav line I'd come up with, so this is it. For the voiceover, I unabashedly used an awesome monologue by Ken Nordine.

Good god this is good! Sort of reminds me of Robyn Hitchcock and/or early XTC.
Whoa! Fantastic lyrics! And of course a great recording. Excellent work.
I am so intrigued by that high-pitched guitar sound!
You've got an awesome vibe going on these tracks, consider me your newest fan. :-)
I love that sort of 2nd era of the Cure once they started getting gothy and psychedelic. Nice! :-)

Are you the lovechild of Jandek, Aphex Twin, and Negativland?
I don't understand why no one will eat the butter in my underwear either!
It's been bothering me over the last 3 months that the bass drum was essentially drowned out, so I did a bit of a remaster.
Beautiful!!!
This rocks! \m/
Wheeeeee!!!!!!
Gorgeous!
This is so pleasing to listen to!
Kind of got a Dave Mustaine quality to the vocals, very cool!
Oh hell yes. This is right up my alley!
I'm really enamored with the vocal line on this song!
