A string composition played on Fender Mustang driving a Roland GR-20 that was re-tuned on the fly
And another one I didn't share from the same day. I must of been in a funk where it all sounded really bad. This improvisation concentrates more on melodic aspects of 22 edo though there are some harmonies.
Hello guest (75.27.136.221)
I'm just following my ears. I suspect my mind imposes more order on the chaos than just running wild - also I suspect it is not a strict "anything" like a MOS.

If I had a 2^ n/22 keyboard handy I could learn a lot from reproducing the melodic phrases in this piece. Are you sticking to a particular mode here, maybe one of Erlich's decatonic 22 edo modes, or are you just canoodling around without a moment of symmetry?
Nice job, Chris! I really like the way you developed the piece! Sounds really good! Part of the melody made me think of a rhythm of Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box, which I happen to like quite a bit. Thanks for posting!

At a recent charity event held in my small town's train museum, I was admiring a massive brass train bell when the curator walked up to me. I commented that a bell would really rather be heard then seen, and he agreed. I offered to digitally record…

Reg's little homage to Elizabeth Taylor who passed away today, the piano is a little dodgy and the lyrics and the singing in parts as i'm following my dodgy playing, it will have to be revisited but i thought i'd share anyway as i would forget…

This traditional Cuban rhythm is the well established "go-to" pattern for 4/4 songs. It is perhaps the most commonly heard conga pattern in 4/4 music. The bongo pattern that accompanies the congas is referred to as "martillo" (the hammer…
Norm played the percussion first, which is a Bembe pattern; I couldnt help playing a melody and creating lyrics for this perc track. Thanks for the listen, Enjoy!
With all the highs in Regs life, it had to equal out and Reg has dropped like a stone ........he's broken.........he's had a breakdown.....Well let's face it. It had to happen he was just pushing himself too much. Hopefully he can carry on the…
