Two Old Friends (Track #17)
Artist's description:
A little song about how things change.... composed on classical guitar, performed on electric guitar and synthesizer. Realized by bouncing…
Ever have a song you know is ugly and horrific but you love anyway? This is one of those from 1997 and recorded in Cakewalk Pro Audio.
The piece is was totally improvised starting with the drum line which I had the drum machine in "learn" mode…
i like that this is longer then normal by the third minute I am committed to listen all the way :)this song became a fav @ minute 8 was this what you did with that sample of beat things you asked for? Wait I remember this now woe the memories are coming back they are the same yet different. wait i just lost myselves @ about minute 22:22

I think this needs a guitar solo but i'm not capable of doing it so if anyone would like to give it a go i would love to hear what you could come up with its in C. Otherwise i'm quite happy with it...now with a solo by Billy Jack
Please Don…
some mistakes, like playing live, but i make them right quicky. the song is for halloween and make of the lyrics what you will.
the drums have phaze on them. some of the soft guitars have phaze and flange. the beginning 2 1/2 mins are slow…
Chris Vaisvil sent me over some guitar to see what i could come up with…he also sent it to Phantasm777 to see what he could come up with on the drums and i might add has done a striling job with them….Chris then mixed it and sent it to me for…
yikes, hope i don't disgrace the beatles with this one. i tried to stay to the spirit of the song. obviously i didn't have a sitar and i didn't think i should need to re-create every sound effect they did, but i did many! one of my fav psyche…
i was trying to work on a piece for a shark video of mine, but this is what came out instead,, my piano moments collections are the small musical threads that emerge amongst/while i am working/thinking about other things,,,
Well last night just as i was of to bed , there was a knock on the door of the cellar and it was John & George they had come for a sess and i mean who was i to deny them…..they'd heard of the Beatle fest from Elvis…he could never keep quiet…
cover of the pink floyd song
dr alfredo de pietra on guitars and myself on vocal duties. a slighty different mix from the two versions at songcrafters.
love the sound - you should try to get a convolution reverb sample of this space. I'm not quite sure how to do that but the info has to be on the net somewhere.
Comments on vaisvil's stuff

Now this is an idea i can get into. ;)
Thanks for your help, and i'm glad you and your wife liked the track!
Very impressive.
Ha!! Now, here's a 3000 dollar guitar. I never thought of field recording in a store. Unreal, and a very clever idea.
some of by best perfs have been in guitar centers, playing with the really expensive strings I can't afford.

After hearing this i'm not sure......double stamped! score!!!

I like stretched music - I do a lot of it myself - did you stretch a version of the Beatles Dear Prudence?
I usually don't fav songs i'm on... but it really was 99% Reg and Phan so...
Thanks for cooking up this collab - you and Phantasm rock!
