Cool piece Chris, something magical about playing a new instrument. Mandolin is something I would like to try again, the different tuning always trows me off.
I enjoyed this thoroughly, and as for the "guest" and his moronic comment... He has no understanding of that which he is listening. It’s sad when the idiots of the world run around giving their uninformed, unfounded, and just plain stupid opinions - all while maintaining anonymity. Go to hell, guest. Please, go to hell.
Newbold meets clones. I knew this would be complex from the start. Chris, this was a formidable undertaking! You guys are both old school to me. Nice
Great listen !!! Great to see you both on AT
In 2006 we visited a Japanese garden. In September of 2009 I wrote this piano piece in 17 ET and I hear a connection between the two. So I put together a video from pictures and video taken of our visit and married the two. Please visit the song…
One of my favorite songs from The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway - which I pretty much destroy
12 string guitar, 6 string bass, lead and backing vocals
All the pumping's nearly over for my sweet heart.
This is the one for me,
Time to meet…
Over a month of hourly time lapse (night edited out) with 17 note per octave ambient guitar accompaniment. This is probably the longest project I’ve set out to do. I left my time lapse camera in the kitchen window filming the tree in my backyard…

I've gone too long not listening to good experimental music like this. excellent work here, in the composition, the effects, performance, and the accompanying video. --din
2008 - A 12 string guitar Acoustic Improv played in the Pelican tuning DEADAD. It has some rough spots but sometimes the best takes are the first ones. final edits made in Ableton 9 and audacity.
While wiring up a new FX processor in my studio I was messing around with this classic traditional sea shanty. Probably because at this time last week I was playing at the Harwich (UK) International Sea Shanty Festival. Anyway, while messing around…
Orphans were asked to contribute a track to a new 'Halloween Compilation' - released by Whiplash Records - this is our cover of the Coops 'Dwight Fry' - Hope you enjoy!
For this track I used a scale that John McLaughlin once mentioned in an interview, which I later figured out was a Phrygian Dominant scale with the flat-6 omitted.
Thanks for listening.

Great piano. wish I could play an instrument like this.
nice guitar work clones. Was that a slide on a reg guitar, or fretless? Echo on vox near end is fitting for this too- cheers!
Love the riff Chris

One of the best technical songs ever. Now, regarding the Hurdy Gurdy... Well done my bold brother. And Merry Christmas.
Nice one

Great song and versh! Kavin.
Been listening to Ry Cooder soundtrack music, and this fits right in, great mood and guitar tone and concept.

This gives a sense of a huge space with a guitar sound that rips the fabric of space-time - really great!
Love the textural development!
Always love your playing Ben!
I like how you use loops - your guitar becomes orchestral!
Cool piece!
On theme or not I love your piano playing!
Very good - nice and intimate, uncompromising!
Perfection! - but we all do not expect less for you and your collaborators Tess!
Sounds like middle eastern EDM!
Great guitar work!

Legolas and the woodland elvish band after being gifted synthesizers by Gandalf :-)
some really cool sounds in this!
This really is spooky - it is like being in a haunted house - is this the revived super nova?
really hot guitar!
Is this all you? In any case impressive vocals!
Fantastic cover!

This has a really a great sweetness tinged with regret feel.
