This is a piece Norm and I collaborated on last year. We hope you will enjoy it.
two improvised 12 string guitar lines
bass line ( I took a few takes)
improvised piano
Norm's percussion in Tumbao rhythm
looks like something from my local biotanic garden,, is the color true? i like the feeling of this piece...not sure how to say it, but i like it..... go figure,,,,
They are noisy little bugs aren't they?
Nice rhythmic playing here Chris. beautifully done!
I have a fair sized collection of bugs and insects,
which I thought would interest the grand children one day, but of course, they can't be heard.
Oh, look at his dear little face!
Interesting chipping noises I heard in there.
A very vibration rich, most eerie, especially the long, fading note at the end.
is a mash featuring Benjamin Smith (piano), Paul Mimlitsch x 2 (bass recorder and bass clarinet), Lydia Busler-Blais (horn), and myself (percussion) – all tracks manipulated – the tuning is nominally 12 equal, however, there is enough pitch bending…
Ooo, I see this one is going to be an epic! headphones in place, ok go .....
That was a journey into the secret hive! Beautifully done. I can appreciate the work that goes into ambient music, too clever for me!
an ambient piece using 19 edo + harmonic series tuned synthesizers, 17 edo electric guitar, and unconstrained pitch metallic objects (I was allowed to sample a metal work shop).
there should be dialogs about these songs in chat areas on each page sometimes, betting that is what is going on at the site of yours where you post. :)

If the baby falls
The crib shall age empty
all of the earth
which ever lived
creation everyday
if the baby falls
it would leave the crib quite solo
The sources who join to nurture cries and giggles
Won't change diapers anymore
If our baby falls…

Easter Sunday,, soft bubbly white clouds float across a pale blue sky,, above a green green field, filled with rows of those who have passed away,,, my mother and father lie in one such.... fresh flowers, quiet, and sometimes not so, words drift…
Reg has had a tough week and decided to get himself wiped clean so he has took to the drink. I had some help Vocally and with the music i must thank the Red wine....Thank you
Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night with just the coolest tiny idea? perhaps a musical dream? these small pieces are just that,, tiny little musical notes that just seem to break into my normal musical day,, one take suff
think…
I couldn't resist crossing swords with Alex on this deft song of his which left me quite touchéd!
*Inspired in part at least by accidental meat on meat.*
Here's the original track.
This is really nice work - laid back and exotic. Very nice balance between the music and the percussion - tastefully done. Since I'm listening before the description went up I'm very curious who you collaborated with - they did a nice job on the music.
Solo acoustic guitar recorded January 2nd 2009. Hope to do a longer more developed version at some point ,but for now just a short version to learn more about using new DAW software.
Improvisation is what I love, finding out about things (when there is a little time).
I also post the video where I have used it in. Hedgehogs were here last year in our garden, and now they start coming back from hibernation. Uk, the hedgehog…
Fisherman and the Siren by Lord Frederic Leighton
This is a blues collaboration between The TwoRegs (vocals / lyrics) and Norm Harris (percussion) and myself (17 note per octave electric guitar and fretless bass).
We hope you enjoy it…

Trance inducing, love it
It certainly resonates! Are the delicate hammering noises the forge sounds? Then there are the buzzings! Or am I mistaken? This is very well done.
Weird and wonderful!
Different and interesting.
neat-0! Illegal Alien
Yes - I love it.
majestic!
Suspenseful and Interesting. M O R E W I N E

Norm has a good ear and taste - this is truly awesome!
I really like this - I hope you don't mind I tried to add to it.
Hi John, Ediacaran Garden's mp3 is the default output of Sibelius composition software with their default guitar sound. I agree it sounds pretty good.
beautiful Richard - very beautiful.
and this is beautiful
cool vibe and story!
this could be in a music box
perhaps my favorite of the set - I like the melody
I hear something of Beethoven and Chopin in this - delicate introspection.
lovey - very soft candle light music.

Beautiful - beautiful tone too.
one of my favorite Zep songs done right!
Were you get the wimmin? Ah, silly question ;-)
*astonished*
Damn.... Elvis IS in the building~!
Man I just *love* your voice. The music and mood is great - but you have a great voice. Bummer on the injury.
lovely improvisation!
yeah - the vocalists get all of the groupies.
good point - Reg?
