can I say the cricket effect works like a scream ,, listening now best thing is the 4:33 min length of this.
nice work here. // the avatar I have now is an emo emu that has been warped a little in gimp :) these textures in my latest composition are from 2004 august 22 where i have layered the original tape recording after putting it on cd :) // you know I do not know this song by Firth but it is pleasant for a melodically worked piece. did you play this or just use a midi of the piece then orchestrate the work?
Freakin sweet! :) Have you heard the NESkimos?

Pretty cool band, only have one cd, and it's a burned copy, but they start one of their songs shouting the "extra lives" cheat code to the original Contra. Up,up,down, down, left, right.left, right,b,a,b,a start...haha...can't believe I remember that....
This is a piece using 2 keyboards, an M-Audio 88es (vocal choir) and Alesis Q49 (brass choir) in 17 notes per octave. The objective was to use some functional xenharmonic chord progressions. I would be interested in knowing if you perceive the…

one could make any brass instrument to play in any temperament by valve placement and tubing length as far as I know. On the other hand 24 note per octave (and finer divisions) are avalable on wodwind and brass with using alternate fingering. On a recent trip to Urbana for a performance Peter's composition called for french horn playing in harmonic series tuning - but I guess the actual use comes close to 72 equal. The video of that is here: (go to about 16:40 .) http://www.youtube.com/user/clones98#p/u/30/OjY4LwBV8sM
This is a solo classical guitar piece in 12 equal. The recording was produced by playing an Epiphone C70CE through a Marshall amplifier's clean channel with reverberation and recording with a Zoom H2. Minimal post - processing was done to the…
Just having some fun. Geas gave me the idea, I was posting the forums about needing Alonetone Awards and he had the idea to just give them to people for tracks that you like.
I got to play this $3,000 8 string baritone Taylor today. Had I $3,000 at all it would have been mine! It has to be one of the best guitars I've ever played and an ingenious string combination.
Congrats!!! You have just won an M.T.C Music award!!!
AWARD: Best Field Recording
Also presenting the following Award- Most tracks uploaded in a single day
As I had nothing better to do last night, I had this great idea that I would construct a rhythm for the 24 hour challenge. This would be different: a 24 minute drum solo (I mean, who wouldn't love that?). I even had a perfect bass riff: the "Mother…
I couldn't talk for a while afterwards and I felt like a moron after listening to my vocals, but it had to be done :) So no laffin'!
Our attempt to be on the roof of Abbey Road Studios if only for a moment!

I did the guitar and bass tracks first, then procured my 10 year olds cello for the main bass line :) I also tried my luck playing cello with a bow on this track- which was a new experience.
The trumpet and violin bits are played…
Had these backing tracks laying around on my drive for a while and didn't know what to do with them, so grabbed my Ebow and a fretless electric that I built for myself a couple years ago and had a go. My fretless playing is really in its infancy…
this is great!!! I love the jazz / spaces blues vibe. The harmony leads are seriously impressive! How'd did you make your fretless? I recently made one myself - amazing how low the action is now.
Stealin' Pumpkins off the vine...
Such good fun I do it all the time.
Single Gon Bops conga track miced for heavy bass. And 2 tracks of cow bell, of course.
4/4 200bpm
this is ok - I must admit I'd like to hear this with some shuffling percussion and a bass line to paste it together - and bring out that lead instrument a bit more. Its always dangerous to compose someone else's piece - so forgive me if the idea sounds ludicrous.
