The second track on my Everybody Loves Funk album.
There are no lyrics or vocals, but in my head I like to think I can hear the story of Evaline, the girl every guy wants to know, but who always seems just a little aloof and out of reach...lol
Lyrics influenced by a conversation with a friend whose daughter was in a really bad way. Kind of set the mood for large parts of the challenge for me this year.
New version uploaded 12 Dec 2010.
This song is evolving it was People they dont try at all now its People just think me the fool and i have to work on that Banjo but at least its a bit cleaner now but a work in progress...As all of mine are.
I strongly felt that your style was a combination of progressive rock and blues and your vocals reminded me of Bryan Ferry with hints of Bob Dylan and Donovan too. All together making for a really interesting listening experience for me.
Still playing with my _Neurotik_ sequencer made using Max for Live. This one turned out a bit strange. I was actually using it to drive Kontakt with cello & violin patches.
It was sort of interesting but not quite working when I dropped CamelSpace…
This track was my attempted submission for Ramen Music #001. I finally got around to uploading it here.
It was made using several instances of the Max for Live instrument "Loop Shifter" that I played in real-time using my Novation Launchpad…
I seem to have problems streaming tracks on here these days unfortunately, but fortunately that means I download them to listen. This track was incredibly relaxing to listen to. I felt as if I'd returned to the safety of the womb.
Wonderful...thanks!!!
Ah loved the fusion of styles...house meets rap with a little funky jazz for good measure.
And at 14.38 on a Monday you had me dancing in my chair too :)
Archival stuff from my distant past with former bandmates in Scartaglen. A set of traditional Irish tunes. Rescued from a cassette tape done at a concert back in the early 90's. Myself on Uilleann pipes and whistle. Mike dugger on guitar and fiddle…
Bass is something that really resonates with me personally (no pun intended). I like how here it's understated and yet still very effective in adding depth to the song.
finding meaning in nothing new.

Certainly sci-fi soundtrack potential here.
Groovy indeed...I liked the funky sounding drums...and how the piece had an improve feel in places.
Makes me think of walking along the beach holding hands with a loved one. A very enjoyable listen.
