An old Rodeo cowboy thinking about his life, and how he'll get to the next Rodeo to maybe make some money.
I was traveling down the interstate and happened to look out my window. Just by chance this fellow in an old pickup truck passed us. In…
Bob Krouse...You still alive? How in the heck R U ? It's been a long while. Bet U don't remember me. You still sound good...for am ole poot.

WELL....I wrote this song waaaayyy back when.
I was NOT happy with the mix at all. BUT, all I had money for was a two track studio, AND ABOUT AN HOUR OF TIME.
A good music friend of mine said it reminded him of an old live radio show. Like when…
I wrote this in Tombstone Ariz.
Lyrics never came. A buddy of mine had a studio and we played with this song for about 16 hours.
It's a good song to drive to.
Whoo Boy,....This is the quintessential universal broken hearted "woe is me song".
I think everybody has been there at least once.
A friend of mine in Nashville helped arrange this song. I had played with him for sometime here in Illinois…
This lovely song reminds me of one sang at a fantastic evening in Cardiff, Wales, watching the great Don Williams - we were all sat, arms in the air, swaying and singing along. Electric! This track has the same quality.

i love noise. when i record, i make no effort to restrict noise unless it overwhelms the actual musical point i'm trying to make. sometimes i record just noise.
all that said, i think that in this track the noise lends to the point. you're recalling and celebrating a time in the past, and the noise is symbolic of that anchor you have to the past.
ignoring the 'symbolic' tripe i just spewed, i have to say that the noise makes this song for me. if every one of your songs had this same recording quality i would download them all instantly and burn them just to drive to. the reverb on your voice is just right, and the bass in your voice is minimal, which gives your voice an entirely different personality. the ONLY problem i have with the recording quality is the way the bass fades in and out, as though it was heavily processed in an attempt to clean it up, or something.
sorry, i know my feedback is super lame.

I tried to write this song in the vain of the Cowboy Ballads. It was used as a title song in a film. I tried to put all the energy, mystique, and subtle undertones into this song without going overboard. I wanted to give it strength but at the…
i swear i'm not trying to spam your comments. your voice is absolutely awesome in this song, and the story-telling lyrical style is great, but what really sets it apart from your other songs is the unexpected snare and low tom hits.

It does remind me of a live radio show- not a bad thing! I've read a million of those books!
You make such a full sound here, a mellow voice and a lone guitar. Lovely backing singing too.
