Incredible man. I love the way it keeps opening up with the chord progressions. The soft picking holds the song in place while it builds and falls off, and you know I'm a sucker for good ole reverse effects. I will be jammin this today on my way to colorado.
Two ambient guitar tracks recorded independently and stick together. I broke my rule of not using distortion on a BL piece, for the first time, believe it or no.

Some kind of rap-music. Made with a little bit tongue in cheek approach. I've filtered the rap artists voice so much that i'd rather leave his name unpublished.
The title came to me as I was listening to the track and was reminded of looking through [Savage's](http://alonetone.com/sistersavage) telescope at a starry sky and us being completely unable to figure out how to get it aligned :)
The title itself…
Basically, Its about being on the road with your band, and having a girl at home who doesn't want you to be in a band. And, just, that whole battle between the life you want, and the one she wants with you.
I've had pieces of this song for years…
Recorded live during the last days of the Red Blood Club in Dallas, this Dennis Gonzalez Yells At Eels song features Stefan Gonzalez (drums), Aaron Gonzalez (contrabass), and Dennis Gonzalez (treated trumpet).
I'm really thinking of renaming the upcoming "Burning Wood... The Bonfire Sessions" album "Stealing Genius." I write something simple, put down some picking at the beginning, some acoustic guitar and some vocals, and send it off to people with…
This is a study on using split keyboards and virtual instrument layering for live performance. More information is here http://chrisvaisvil.com/?p=1050 if you are into that sort of thing.

This is a video piece made for the ImprovFriday drone theme event which used my DIY 9 string canon, DIY electrified 8 string psaltery, viola bow, ebow, and fingers. The tuning in unknown – just something I did by ear.

Feels like the first rain after a drought. A fresh new day. Welcome, optimistic, and fresh.
Great stuff man! Really dig that last minute or so.
Amazing track....
Digging the reverse style picking.

very cool
Yummy!
I sense jungle footsteps! I sense adventure and self-discovery.
Thanks Kirk, only guitar fx are the DL4, live looping, playing over a background of virtual Partch instruments altered and looped with Sound Doodle.
Wild effects! You add some new toys to the rig?
To me, it got real interesting after the 3 minute mark. Cool sounds.
neat toy you have there.

Intense flavours!
Nice! I find the distortion to be very affective in this one. Great textures
Very cool song
Superb, this album. The multi-instrumental approach is definitely a big strength, but the way everything forms a cohesive whole is really impressive.
One very cool improv album. The atmosphere must've been electric! Great work, guys!
Captured some magic here!
Didgeridoo work with Ambient like sonic waved guitars? wow this surely melts my brain to crystals...gotta see you guys live...any upcoming gigs in FL?

Sweet pickin' there.
wonderful!
My favorite sound, a properly delayed guitar.
Nice groove!
Lovely minimalism. Beauty.
fantastic sonic manipulation. Will have to look up the GB novel.
MTC, ebow yes with two different delays active.
Love these long sonic journeys
really like the extended gtr intro.
Been a fan of YAE for years. Imagine my surprise to see them here.
Great song but that slide gtr is kinda cheesy :)
Still, wow. Never heard of L. Freud, until now. thanks
thanks for that comment MTC..check out Doug Sparling's stuff, which is direct inspiration for this direction I took.
wow. Test successful.
what the..? Cool
I like this dynamic approach you have to your ambient compositions, the scenes always changing.
Great sounds all thru this playlist. Wish you success in your efforts.
