Just been listening to Mott The Hoople - made me think of this, so back for another listen. Every bit as good as I remembered...
And guess what??
My favourite button worked!! :-)
Oh, I LOVE this. It reminds me of all sorts of influences from my past - you've squeezed elements of nearly every act I like into it and ended up coming out with something that, to me, feels totally original.
Hats off to you, sir.
She hangs a little garden
so everyone can fit in her yard
when it's time to take tea
fills it up when they're walking about
they really knew how to twist and shout
and they're always going back that way again
rents a flat with his sister…
This one rewards repeated listening... (I especially love the instrumental break before the last verse). I'd like to put this tune on our community radio station, if you don't mind. (WUTZ radio, 88.3 in Summertown, TN) ~ Let me know if that's okay.
This hymn is not my own but is in the public domain copyright wise, so i thought I would upload it. It is an old Irish melody. I listened to a lot of versions of it and then came up with a version myself using chords that I felt best suited it…
Like A Wave
--
If you make yourself a mule
someone's gonna ride you
this I know
Like a breeze moves through the air
or a wave upon the water
is how I go
When you can freely give
of all that you can hold
you can know no more…
Another beach boys cover playing and singing all instruments..even found a harp sound for my keyboard on the intro...never autotuned!! all wavering and slightly sour notes included..Enjoy
Harry
The sun in my mouth
the leaf on my back
the crown on my tree
forever let alone
in reverie
can't you see her

Nice one, Brett! I don't know how you come up with some of this stuff, but don't ever stop!!
thanks (for about the hundredth time) ;)
This track is one of my old time favourites. It should be playing on at least one jukebox somewhere at all times.
Thank ya, sir.
as we say in bonnie scotland. magic! braw tell yer maw.
Thank you very much, Andrew (and guest), glad you like it.

Nice, kinda Filter-ish? relaxing nineties metal... good work.
very pretty.
tasty
Very nice, sir. Your delivery is very honest, if that makes sense.
Thanks very much Xinkies, Mr. Chillax, Cave Street and Stoman.
Coolness. Alonetone's been on fire lately.
K, I'm gonna comment on this twice. This is like straight outta prog-era Eno.
Holy crap, this is the weirdest thing I've heard in a long time. Bravo, sir.
Another good'n. It's seems like pleasant, "bright" melodies are extremely unpopular anymore, which is a shame. Good work, man, keep it up.
Silky. For some reason I'm getting a Sade meets Genesis vibe (maybe it's the snap claps ? dunno) Solid performances all around.
Very sweet and your voice lends it an angular, jagged edge; which makes for a very interesting mix.
very nice
Thanks for the comments, guys
Very nice… one of the better songs I’ve heard from you guys. The electric and bass guitars flow together beautifully in this.
Thanks James, The Proods, guest, Jefferson Cole and jip.
beautiful work.
Awww dude this is great. Love the reverb'd guitar and drum machine combo. Great vocal delivery as well.
Thanks Jefferson Cole, Reefwalker, Proods and Radio Roswell. 'preciate it.
It's like a strange mixture of The Call, Pete Townshend and E.L.O. Lot of cool stuff going on.
Good stuff, flows nicely and feels effortless. Yeah, thumbs up.
