I was going to hire Meatloaf for the ending but it turns out he will NOT work for pancakes... which is what I had heard.
This is one of the prime examples of (early on) being WAY more ambitious than what my ability…
You're right it is really good. That drum track is a little overwhelming in the mix at first tho. I like the guitars, stream of conciousness lyrics, Lennon-like vocal and the Miles Davis title check.

The music alone is work of art, I like the sudden tempo changes too.
The song is bizarre and really clever.
The last verse is most impressive all round.
You don't need Meatloaf oh, and I'll have your dog!
She hangs a little garden
so everyone can fit in her yard
when it's time to take tea
fills it up when they're walking about
they really knew how to twist and shout
and they're always going back that way again
rents a flat with his sister…
This is a solid little tune, catchy as can be with several unexpected twists. Would love to be able to read along with all of the lyrics - please post 'em!
Well, it IS!
lyrics for my Italian friends:
We're gonna be there in your wake
mending the seams when they start to break
make you do what you said that you would
and other words that rhyme with good
once so close why let it go, baby…

Dogend Dave he's ok picks up the shit we throw away
Cigarette buts, bottles and cans
He cashes them in for a couple of pounds
He don't care what the people think
He don't wash much so he kinda stinks
But he smiles like a gentleman

This one's for the silly romantics everywhere. It is featured in the short indie film, Hashi, written and directed by Sherman Ong.
Production and backup vocals by Chan Chun Liang.

Last track of the new album :D
For those wondering, no I'm not referring to anyone, it's just how the 'post rock' names are, ala Red Sparowes, ASMZ, etc. Long and Pretentious track titles.
Bethan wanted to make a lullaby for her new grandson and asked me for to make a music track for her to sing to.
Tess added 2 extra riffs and pitched it down as well. She also did the mixing and the vocal arrangement.

I must make time to listen to all of your uploads - this is another treasure.

broken transmissions from some alternate dimension... very hypnotizing.
excellent track, continually builds upward into a chaotic pulse but you manage to keep it uncluttered.
your songs are awesome, they make me wanna go rollerskating.
I really like this and I don't know why, ha. It's uh, very evocative I suppose.
thanks SG, LSC.
you seem to possess a near endless reserve of storytelling, I'm continually impressed.
aw yeah. Wasn't sure about this at first, but it's got a great hypnotic/driving quality that reeled me in.
Awesome track. Excellent production. Has a great near-east flavor without being cliche about it.

ah, some Low era Bowie. Love it. Really enjoyed Distress Shimmer, excellent work Tipu.
This is great. Sure, there's a general Radiohead influence here, but I think you made it your own.
thanks mmi. oddly enough this was easiest song to write and record on the album. Usually everything I do IS a mixing nightmare though, ha

very pretty, good work all
awesome, I love anything with that thick, ominous vangelis flavor.
