Itchy | AloneTone Collaboration
While I’m certain there are those who may be growing weary of scratching, I couldn’t resist posting this great mix by Alister Flint, who is truly a master mixologist extraordinaire - he didn’t even have individual tracks to work with! Al was too modest to post this himself, so I’m posting it with these thoughts:
-
Internet collaborating is what it’s all about, as far as I’m concerned. In many ways, if you can live without the applause, it’s even better than a live band (no lugging gear, intoxicated crowds, rip-off venues, etc). And it’s great fun!!
-
A separate, knowledgeable and skilled mixer is a tremendous asset as she/he removes the skewed perspective factor of a performer mix and results in an overall clearer, bigger-picture sound.

There are some serious skills here at AT. Finding like-minded musicians on line beats the hell out of trying to find them locally on Craig’s List.
