A WildGeas and CaveStreet collaboration
some say once upon a time
there was a line
that was never meant to be crossed
if ever that occurred
you might have heard
an innocence would have to be lost
but having crossed that line
I can…
The first WildGeas and Cave Street collaboration
There ain't nothin' I could buy
that can ever calm me down
So I leave my money at home
when I go into town
I put on my fightin' hat
an' I wear my dancin' shoes
An' if I miss my ride…

Thanks, Alex! What a great compliment coming from such a talented musician as yourself! And yes, of course.... er, how far down the line? :-)

Oh, I'm a believer. I can't count the times I've seen music transcend the boundaries of time and space in just such a manner! :-)
Cheers!
When they make the film about my life and times later down the line I'd like you to do the soundtrack? That ok? Makes me feel like im in a film, locked in dark contemplation. eerie. catchy. good. :)
This one.. believe it or not.. helped me sort out a problem thats been buggin me.. then, it turned out the title was exactly the conclusion I'd come to. Freaky!

All guitars by my good friend Chris Mitchell. I had a chance to record this while I was in Dallas this past Summer. This is a companion piece to my song Secrets from the "Of Sound Mind" album, my RPM 2009 entry.
I like your thought provoking titles, but this one if full on truth in advertising. I love it! How are you making that overblown sax/squeaking balloon sound? Is this all midi?
A friend once took me to a Hindu temple. We sat on the floor for a while as the religious leader chanted and burned incense. This was followed by an uncomfortable tour of the place. Our tour guide then said "You should go get some food.". It was…

Thanks for listening! I'm still neck deep in trying to get myself sorted out, but really looking forward to checking out Reg's latest saga soon. Not to mention whatever you & WildGeas get up to!!
Jan. demo for RPM 2014. Don't know if I will redo it for the album, so here it is for now...

And say I'm doing well

Thanks, Greg. The weird sounds in the intro are coming from my new delay pedal... it's also provided the effect used on the "lead" guitar parts. I love this thing, it will definitely have an impact on the sound of my entire RPM album!
Thanks, jip & WG!! STill don't think I've done it quite as good as it deserves.... This was my third attempt (so far) and I feel I'm getting closer...

This is a Phil Keaggy tune. I swiped his original loop and then built my own thing on top of it. Might have been longer, but my volume swell effect keeps slipping out of sync with everything else. May work on it more at a later date
Welcome to alonetone, John! Really glad Reg (Trevor) pointed me in your direction! This is a most excellent track. Would love it if you would post the words in the about section!
Just an experiment from a while back using multiple delay units. I hated it initially, but after not hearing it for a few months I decided there were enough interesting moments to warrant sharing.
It hit me...I know so many sides of so many arguments it's all become useless.

Lyrics:
I don’t care for love and happiness
I got myself a yacht and a mansion
I don’t believe in God and religion
I got myself sixty four billion

Hey all, which Greed version do you prefer? :)
Lead guitar, organ, and drums added by Vic Lyn. He did a great job - extremely talented and insightful with music. Thanks so much, Vic. (Check out Vic's website: www.avlstudios.com

Thanks for sharing this, Kirk!
Great acoustic sound on this live version! Great vocal too of course, and the jamming harp solo is gravy. Thanks for sharing Colin!
Neil Young would have been proud to write this one, but it's 100% JMT.
Like em both, but this one is my favorite of the two
Love the guitar solo in this one
