Based on a riff brought back to life after many years, and remembrance of a childhood fever dream. Wrap this in the context of the past two years and this is the musical result.

this is a 432Hz tuned version of AFTER SUBSIST... the original is 440Hz.. I am trying to experiment with this.. tell me which you prefer.. this one or the original??
Did you might the drums separately or as a single track? I feel the kick and snare may be just a touch loud in the mix. While the rhythm guitars could come up a bit. But over all this is a great track I am happy to see it grow from the seed of an idea! Also who did the voice over at the beginning?

This is a one mic recording made this morning in the living room, touch of reverbs…
This is kick-ass! You have a great voice and I love your guitar playing. When you have great ingredients like that, you don’t need much more than good material, of which there is plenty here! I am very inspired listening to this. I appreciate you sharing it and I look forward to delving deeper -bjk
I developed a strong obsession with the building blocks of pop songs and tried to craft one. Unfortunately, I wrote it in a key that was high enough that the combination of the rapid-fire words and the pitch nearly made me pass out while singing…
