It is my desire to free the inner child, to see like a child sees, to be in awe of my surroundings.
Wake up, little child, come out of hiding
I don't, i don't want to hurt you anymore
I want to see the world through your eyes.
This one is a bit different. It is a synthesizer instrumental, and the title is no coincidence. The experiment was to write a complete song based on just one single chord. :)
This is part I. There is a part II which uses the same theme but a…

The new mix sounds pretty good on my speakers.

My closest friend Brenda McNeill wrote the lyrics of this song as a dramatic monologue, and once she showed it to me I just had to turn it into a song:
She swept in, an hour late
wrapped in her cloak

Your songwriting skills are really admirable. Putting a free-form poem like this to music sure isn't an easy job for most people. But your music and the lyrics always go together like hand and glove.
Great lyric, btw!

A moody solo acoustic thing that I came up with playing in a long forgotten tuning. Just got a new Zoom H4N, so this was recorded in my shop sitting at my reedmaking bench may 12 2009

Really glad I listened, I'll be back for more of yours...
This is a Ralph Mctell song , a very underated British singer / songwriter , probably famous for one song , The Streets of London , but in fact wrote many great songs , he wrote this while working on a building site before he was signed by a record…
I must admit that I don't know any of McTell's songs except "Beautiful Dreamer" and "Streets Of London". But I don't think the original version of this song can be much better than yours. :)
Very well done again, Rob. Although I'd prefer to hear you sing more original songs as those I've had the pleasure to listen to were awesome.

Steffen

Sweet vocal and really good, clean playing. Very groovy.
Love it...Dynamic duo is born.
Great atmosphere!
Looking forward to more experiments! Parts of this remind me of the old "Dr Who" theme. Good fun!
