A blended cover of two separate Angie Fights Crime songs, joining the compilation group with my good friends from the #RPM Challenge. Recorded in 2016, I thought I would add it to the two other cover tracks in this profile from last year during…

So today, for some reason I decided to read the words first.. Just the words. And found it an absolutely beautiful experience. The metaphors you use to describe great and cosmic plans and intentions of great societal achievement, contrasted with the lines that begin with, "BUT I dreamed we met for breakfast".... (the switch and the contrast is very powerful) what a tiny, common human thing: meeting over the sharing of food,. Then followed by, "I dreamed I held your hand"... human touch/connection, as though those two simple things are worth more than all the highest achievements of worldly fame, and material ladders climbed! Which they are. They so are. The rest of the lyrics continue to develop & express that idea beautifully. Then I listened to the sing, and although it is good as a song, For me, the words in themselves stand strong and impactful w/o anything else. Not to contrast them and say one is "better" than the other. Just that sometimes I see lyrics that stand alone, And just saying, these words do that very well. Gwyn Henry
This one is a classic case of "Chasing The Demo".
In other words, I am not happy with it. The demo versions had a ton more feel and groove. This one sounds rushed and doesn't do the song justice. Oh well, such is life when you are on a budget…
This song was written long before it was recorded, though it stayed pretty much the same from day one of its creation until the studio about 4 years later. My favorite part is my guitar riffs near the end. My least favorite part is my crappy singing.
This song went through multiple iterations before coming out like this. It was a great song to play live. Did anyone catch the tip of the hat to "Fire and Rain" at the very end of the song?
That twanging sound at the beginning of the song is me putting my acoustic through an amp with all knobs on 10. Acoustics feedback at 440mhz, which is an A note. The song is in A. It kind of sounds like a high tension electrical wire.

Great job Wilsun!
Emotive and wistful... great cover version!
The two songs wonderfully complement each other. Great, passionate vocals. Love the bubbling synth sound.
Wonderful rendition!
This is my favorite song on the record. Yeah.
When one of my favorites covers another one of my favorites
This is what I imagine Ben Folds to sound like if he went punk. I dig it a lot.
Fantastic cover. Beautifully well done.
Yeah! This is summer road trip music!

Awesome cover of an awesome tune. Loving hearing you and Jarrett, so to hear you cover Jarrett is fantastic!
Great cover Wilsun! Love your style!
You did a great job with this! Sounds great!
This one had to get the people moving when you played it live, holy crap that is a good tune. Instant favourite!
Well if Mr. Martin like the tune it can't disappoint. And sure enough, it doesn't.
Similar to the previous tune; if you didn't mention anything was wrong, we would praise this song for what it is: Awesome.
I would love to hear this one live. Didn't notice anything wrong with the vocal, if anything, they had a ton of energy to the track.
That bass line is amazing!
That is some good tunage. Love the feedback, sounds fantastic!
