After an adventure in re-recording the entire song down a third, we came back to the original, tightened and tuned.
Always the self flagellating perfectionist, it still needs a bit more love. Always the pragmatist, it is probably done for now.
This is a tune that's been on the back burner for a bit. I was looking to get a dark Ultravox kind of sound. Anyone feel like puttin' on their Midge Ure hat???

There's a lot going on here, in the middle section I used what's known as a Shepard Risset Tone. This is a sound that appears to constantly rise in pitch. If you were to loop the sound, it would never stop rising! I don't understand the match…
