This one could use re-mixing, but I'm going to leave it as is for now. This should be track 6 on "They Are Killers."

I'll have to check when I get home... I think this version has both guitars running through a Gratifier for distorted tone and an Ultrasonic for clean tone (in Guitar Rig 4). I got several suggestions to try doubling with both a high-gain and clean tone to get both clarity/definition and crunch.

This is the most hopeful of the songs on the new album. I just decided one day to say "to hell with it, they're not gonna get me down!". ER

this reminds me of The Magnetic Fields... if you don't know them, you should check it.

Where's all this sappy music coming from? The Olympics were on. I must have been watching too much figure skating or something. Unmastered track from my 2010 RPM Challenge submission.

FN Great song. Especially nice Bongzilla-like guitar tone! What are you using Mesa Boogie channel or stomp box or something else?

Well, song 10 finally. A bit on the heavy side, some odd FX, strange vox, an Ibanez, The ever present harmonica, and some help from Illegal Alien Autopsy. This was the first song I tracked for RPM. But, since my pen has run out of ink this month…

Digging the groove, and the harmonic (surprisingly?) sounds right at home.

MMI, there can never be too much figure skating.

By no means the first song that popped out. It's just the first one I'm calling done beyond a remix. I think this will wind up leading in to a metal tune and will likely be shorter.

Nice track; I've been hearing a lot of vocoder recently but it's used particularly well here.

Archtop Guitar, electric guitar and Roland vocoder. Drums are BFD2 and a tabla I picked up that week at a thrift shop.

Allelujiah-This was supposed to be a completely different song, but this one just wrote itself instead. It’s almost all first take, except for the bass, which took a while to get straight so that it wouldn’t overwhelm the song. It has this tone…

Hey Gary - I listened to your album on the RPM jukebox, and this is my favorite so far. I'll probably change my mind later, but I like the harmonies you did, and I find myself singing the chorous at random times. Well done, sir. I liked all the songs and I'll be loading them into my MP player once I finish downloading. Regards. ER

Hey old friend! Glad you liked my work from this year's challenge. This song in particular has been my favorite of this album. It captures the essence of how rediculous it is for Kylie to have her own museum. I also like The Dogs Name. I wonder if my better half thinks of me in those terms once in awhile. Oh, wait, we have cats. Welcome to the site and I'll stop by from time to time for a listen. Regards. ER

This song described my co-workers at one company during a temporary assignment. I won't mention the company for fear of being sued, but you get the idea what they were like. ER
