Originally this piece was written for a guitar. But I love my R3 so much! I'm playing with it. So this piece is just an electronic version. As always, all sound patches were programmed by me.

Special song! Love your husky, relaxed delivery! Beautiful tone, beautiful vocal! So refreshing!!

You know those people who like to break out the family photos or something of that sort with which to bore their guests? This is my version of that. Most of what makes this song special to me is for all the same reasons that you won't share…

The 3rd song I ever really wrote. Someday I'll record the vocals to it and then we can all laugh together.

Slack key guitar and baritone ukulele. Hula version. Pauoa Liko Ka Lehua is about the beautiful flowers (Lehua) of Pauoa. The double entendre (kaona or hidden meaning) involves a girl with swaying hips.:)

This is great. It's like it can't decide if it's Jazz or 20th century classical. Reminds me a bit of the first Mahavishnu record without the frantic aspect. That's it- I'm swiping some chord voicings from you for new inspiration

oooh I'm getting nervous listening to this one. Love the seemingly never-ending string progression.

Well then, looks like we've started an inspiration feedback loop. I'll be trying again 8/30 if anyone is with me.

Brando~ there is no bar! It's all exploration, which cannot be measured. I was really inspired by your 24, and I drew inspiration from it, so thanks, and cheers!

woah! loving this one! I do not feel one bit like a bored guest looking at your old vacation pictures. I'll dig around for something to rework if you 'update' this one, as you said you'd like to do! :D

BTW this is one amazing piece of work. The bar is raised too high, and I can't see it anymore. Next time 'round I'll just stroll right under it.

Vocal is perfect. Strong bass has the right attitude.

Alright, so it turns out that I lied. THIS song is actually #60 of 2009. I forgot about how I turned the instrumental "lucid traum" into the spoken word 'drama' "wake me up" for a class project. (http://yelyah.com/music/song/lucid-traum…

Whoa! Wasn't prepared for it, and it grabbed me somewhere down deep. gxine (media player) just about blew its mind - never seen it carry on so.

Just one of those passing moods. Just finished today - august 2 2009. I resisted the temptation to try to develop it any further and just let it be what it is

Kirk, thanks so much for your nice comment. I miss hanging out with all my friends that were in this band, but I must admit I miss working Chris Mitchell the most. His guitar playing was top notch & always surprised me in really cool ways. One of the hardest parts about leaving Dallas for Tennessee was ending that musical collaboration that had been ongoing for nearly a decade...
