Like it! Love those chords. And I love how the tension goes up and down - a big release at the start of the chorus, and then it gradually grabs you again as the chorus completes and we're back into another verse. I was wondering how it would feel at the end... and it's perfect. Off to watch the video now :)
After the lockdown, I felt Out of the Darkness. It's still a long way to go but at least I can breath fresh air and walk immersed in nature once again.

Spirit is about the inner child that still exists inside us even in the adult age. He likes to play, observe, dance and run, change game very often and experience new things.

I remembered an incredible night at the seaside some years ago. The moon over the water and the waves, the stars in the sky and the wind with a natural sense of movement. I hope I was able to transfer those sensations into the song.

A song featuring Tim Brown on guitar and bass, and Sam Mann on drums. I tried to get as mean a guitar sound as I could with my Les Paul with PAFs, and Marshall JMP-1 amp with Celestion G-10 20s, and greenback 12s, Bass is a Warmoth fretless ash…

My wife Rita mentioned that she had not heard my dulcimer on any music recently, so I tuned it up and wrote First Morning Light. A little Low D Irish Whistle flavored it just a bit.

I wrote this song about my father and Dementia/Alzheimer's over a year and a half ago. We just finished the song and video, kind of surreal because Dad is in a nursing…
Another re-recorded 2014 50/90 song. This one was written on or about July 4th as New England was about to get spanked by Hurricane Arthur. I tend to write about hurricanes a lot. Weird.
The guitars here are all Gibson ES-335. The amps…

Thanks!
Thanks for listening and nice words!
Rita and I both enjoyed the video. We especially liked “the good wife” singing back up. I have to say the ending really got our attention.
Truly a song for a stormy day or a sunshiney day. A song for everyday!
Guitars are dominant and mean with a decent underlying tribal drum feel in support. Proper!

Wonderful Greg, wonderful ....
A sad but a great song, having watched my Mother in law suffer that dreadful disease ... and a powerful video, sending love to all of you.
My wife just ran in from the kitchen "is this a cover??? I KNOW this" - yep, I said, Kiki Dee... She's singing along with you now :) ... cool version
Yep, that works. Digging the guitars.
this has got some quite nice bits in it, made a nice change to listen to some 'sound' art
Same ... volume too low, my system is up at 5 and I very rarely even go up to 4 ...
Needs to be louder, it sounds good just not very loud maybe you could adjust your mix.
Reminds me of Fade to Grey by Visage but not a bad song
yea I liked that
I hope your resume says multi instrumentalist!!!! love the sound I needed a peaceful song right now!!
My feet are tapping in sultry Minnesota this morning. Thanks for taking my mind off the heat for a few minutes!
There's a nice relaxed but insistent groove on this one - kinda lends a certain inevitability to the lyrics.
