This song was written and recorded for my 2009 RPM Challenge album "Relative Polyphonic Mutiny". There have been a lot of tributes to the funky soundtracks of 1970's porn, this is my homage to the tender side of 80's porn. Longing? Yeah, the well…

princesses of pi, gently descending steps of the temple with scales. each princess takes a different path, however there are similarities. there is beauty in the paths. the slight variations, and the soft fabric of orchestra maintain interest. 0x0

I decided to tap into my latent '80s Depeche Mode subconscious, and this bouncy tune popped out! Ian Beardsley heard an earlier version of this and immediately detected Spanish flamenco hidden in the techno dance chords. I opened up the stage…

Imagine a Mexican quintette playing a fast waltz. There are 3 melodies played in 3/4 time, in a sort of non-standard ABCABC format. The title is a photographic/geographic/melodic play on words. There is a merging of European waltz and Mexican…

reminds me of the "the weakerthans". i really like the guitar tones . seeing how you can make changes, i would love to see and have been advocating for, a tab for lyrics. it can be a much richer experience if you can read along and not miss the music because you are straining to understand the story or message. i have been putting my words under the "ABOUT " tab but it isnt obvious to the listener. love your style and voice. tim

Another song for the RPM 2009 Challenge. This is sort of an interlude that reminds me of Penguin Cafe Orchestra but with a sort of industrial edge. Vocoder is featured.

The whole piece was 24 minutes long. It's a whole bunch of short poems that I wrote back in 1976, read one after the other, under which I added ambient sounds, playing some harmonica and banjo and using samples and effects of various types, synths…
