Just like two sides
Of the same silver dollar
We’re not alike but still the same
And your big life
Makes mine look smaller
I wonder if you know my name
I wait around
You might be calling
A telephone that never rings
End of the day…
Just like two sides
Of the same silver dollar
We’re not alike but still the same
And your big life
Makes mine look smaller
I wonder if you know my name
I wait around

Boy I really like these lyrics. Makes me wonder who was in your mind's eye as you wrote this. Sausage customer, or music producer, or maybe someone else entirely. I am always so amazed at your songs! Love this!
Two hours before morning light
Highway signs go by all night
Open window to catch the breeze
Helps me clear my cluttered mind
Road noise rumbling through the floor
Been on this road once or twice before
My mind is racing up ahead
Leaving…

Highway signs go by all night
Open window to catch the breeze
Helps me clear my cluttered mind

Really like the chord progression....and of course vocals are outstanding...great lyrics...this song really speaks to me...oh and as a side note...your "Taking Home The Pretty One" will be on Dirty Thumps CD that should be released very soon...your name is on the sleeve as writer...It has been copyrighted in Poland and I assume the rest of the world.. so check your mailbox for royalties:-) as soon as I get some CD's I will send you one....of course it is a little different than the original!!! as the producer/engineer says it is like Hendrix interpreting Dylan....lol

The old tin geetar...
Did this one sometime in 2009 on a Boss MBR. I'd recently joined what became Songcrafters.org and PJ (Wiley) posted a bass/drum track for us ubiquitous blues guitarists to solo over.
I decided to go a different route…
I wrote the lyrics and melody to this song a week or so ago when I was feeling that unsettling disconnected feeling we all get from time to time when we're missing the people we love.... Then I gave myself the challenge to try a few things with…
Summertime in Boston, and this little tune is about how it goes by way too fast. Some hilarious chatter between the guys before and after they kick of a pseudo-psychedelic groove that I hope you will enjoy.
FIVE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED-EIGHTY
(HOW MANY KNOW?)
Nobody knows, nobody knows the pain You suffered
No one can know, can truly know the pain You suffered
The pictures show You hanging from The Cross
No marks but the five…

A new song, still just a sketch, recorded live at Winterland studios for my demo. Story about a guy living in Tuscon, AZ, lamenting the irony of the beauty and hardship of living in the desert.
Fellow alone toner Gary Talbott kindly volunteered to add some of his own vocals and strings to this song, so I gladly took him up on it. Fun to keep evolving this one. Thanks Gary!
I was up early this morning before the children so i got me and Les to do and ad-lib song in one take....i wish i had turned the mic down a bit as you can hear me hitting the strings but hey its a kind of percussion...isn't it?

Wonderful laid back feel to this. Superb vocal locks into it perfectly. Top stuff.
Nice Work Greg. I like the sound of your chord progression
That acoustic is slammin'. Real pro Greg.

Nice combination of percussion and classical guitar intro. Lead guitar is a great accent.
Intoxicating! I love it!
This hits the spot! I agree with previous comments, Byrds, Kinks, something from a long lost era. The song feels very familiar to me. Very inviting.
Lovely . . . Lovely . . . Lovely . . .
I have had days that could support a background track like this.
Nice sounds
Sounds like you are having fun! It's always fun to get a new toy.
I'm smiling and laughing all the way through! You certainly know how to capture the moment.
. . . . . . Damn Colleen! You are leaving us in the dust!
Brings up the memory of Grateful Dead for me. The song just drifts along to a happy ending. I like the bantar at both ends too.
You guys have a very unique sound! It's very enjoyable.
This has a great feel to it! Well done.
*OUTSTANDING* That's the best Ukulele I've ever heard. I like the symbolism of *"droplets at the edge of a river"* This might be my new favorite song!
*"A drop dead blue eyed honey"* I love it. Your lyrics are a lot of fun!
Heavy topic but Pretty to listen to.
Reminds my of Dylan. Your lyrics and phrasing are top notch.
Beautiful Song! I heard about the compilation album. This would make a Great addition to the album.
Oh . . . I like this!
You got the magic! Still *Kicking Ass* this morning.
Well . . . there's the difference. I'm stumbling for the coffee when I get up. You are making music with you Les Paul. I need more of that!
