Recorded Last Friday - I sprung this song on Mark Imsdahl while we were playing music together.
I thought he did pretty good for never hearing the song before.

"Better with each glass of wine..." yeah yeah yeah! :-D
But I have to admit... I thought I was bein' attacked by a swarm of Queen (as in Freddy Mercury) bees before I got the point about kazoo. Yeek!
Greg... you know, if u don't C# you'll Bb. Words to live by.
I gotta go.
TRUE STORY
Here comes Ernest he say how you want your eggs
Don’t matter what you say to me, don’t care how much you beg
This here is my damn place and you are just a passing through
You’re lucky just to be alive cause I don’t care about…

@ Mark Imsdahl . . . .
I knew there was another verse to this song.
Just for everyone's information, Mark was with me last Friday when we went to meet Steve Krell at the airport.
Breakfast became quite entertaining. Ernest hit us with everything he had, and in the end became our friend . . . well . . . maybe not Steve's friend.

there something about this story that sounds REAL familiar! lol I'll take one egg scrambled and one over easy.... and could you make my first cup of coffee- half decaf and half reg.... and if you ever ask Ernest for a half cup refill on your coffee then don't dare ask for any more!

Update: Gene offered to improve the Mix on this song! This is that improved version. Thanks so much Gene! You are awesome!!!
I wrote this song earlier this summer, and had played it a few times with Greg Connor, fellow alone toner, and…
Outstanding . . .
I can hear Melissa and the rest of us harmonizing. Colin's bass is keeping us together and Scott's mandolin just brings it over the top.
Great song and lots of fun!

Searching for something
I wonder and roam
Hoping the truth
Soon will be shown…

Happy Sunday Alonetoner's.
I wrote this song yesterday as I had some recent events to ponder.... I hope you like it. Trying for a bit of a bluesy feel. If you'd like to download it and add some background blues bass or guitar, or harmonies…

I start smiling every time your voice pans to the other speaker. That's fun!
Nice song. Andrew has the stuff. I think he's right on, although it may not stop Colin and I adding a little something.
Think of it as putting plastic Pink Flamingos in the yard. It may not add much, but you just feel good about it.
Here is my version of Greg's Cherry Pie...I took a little liberty with it and recorded a whole new song.....I think Greg said that would be ok!!
Tried to put the Sweet Ronnie Cream Cheese Mojo on it....good gawd!!!!
This is my first upload. I mostly have a vocal here. It's a song that I'd love to get some collaboration on from the guitarists in the community. Let me know what you think?
Are we having fun . . . or what! I think Ron's Mandolin would sound perfect in here.
Sounds like the key of C to me, less a little drift from singing *A Cappela*.
Maybe somebody will step up and send you a guitar track. If not, we can record it next time we all get together.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Alonetone!
Comments on Greg Connor's stuff
