I was down at the station
Catch the Greyhound to Go My Way
And I heard the loudspeaker
We’ll be leaving some time today
You just Say no thank you
When I ask you to be mine
I’ll be looking for that green light
When I ask you the next…
I was down at the station
Catch the Greyhound to Go My Way
And I heard the loudspeaker
We’ll be leaving some time today
You just Say no thank you
When I ask you to be mine
I’ll be looking for that green light

Flowers Under The Snow - Written By Greg Connor
These G late winter…
#RPM Challenge 2013#
Wake up in the morning, I’m still in my cloths
I got one eye open but the other wont go
Barely can remember the night before
Except for how you threw me out the door
Whiskey, Whiskey, Whiskey
I think I’m in trouble again…
I was down at the station
Catch the Greyhound to Go My Way
And I heard the loudspeaker
We’ll be leaving some time today
You just Say no thank you
When I ask you to be mine
I’ll be looking for that green light
When I ask you the next…

Well it's funky Friday down here in the cellar and James has forced me to get it on…well he hasn't exactly forced me i was willing so here it is for Funky Friday………...
Part of a collaborative effort done here. My friend sent me these guitar parts which I arranged, twisted and morphed to create this. I added the percussion and other non musical elements thanks to my kids playing while I was experimenting with…
Rich textured sound. For some reason the second piece (or the end of the first piece) really jump started my visual imagination.
Nice guitar with effects, and interesting accompaniment.
Been meaning to enhance this one for years, it's about 4 years old, sure it came about after a trip to Liverpool. The Cavern Club's not the real one, but what a great sound in there. Thanks to the Good Wife for the vocals.
Ok, this came out while messing around with the original, which one I like best, I can't make my mind up. As always sure you guys will put me right !!!!
Greg Connor added his amazing harp to the song. It really adds depth to it. I love Greg's playing on the song. Thanks so much, Greg! This is why Alonetone is great.

I count my blessings…
Recorded on a handheld Tascam recorder, with (unfortunately) a little too much guitar, and not enough vocals.
Sorry Rick, I'll do better next time,
Greg
Here's a collab with Reg & Freight Drive Reprobates who's crazy good backer steals the show.....
The Latex Man (Lyrics)
In the dark of night
everything can sometimes look bizarre
somebody somewhere is in trouble
somebody is having thoughts…
Thought I'd have a go at a soul number. FDR did some lead but the song was left all alone on my comp until today when I landed on it's lyrics while driving home. Thought I'd have a plumb at auditioning for the 3rd Reg, lol.
Ooooh, that's good.
Sounds like you might be having second thoughts about that "Sugar Daddy" thing. Sometimes those ladies have a way of changing your mind.
My mate Dave did his Ringo bit for this one. He came with some songs title's. I was messing about in Open A (I think ) and came up with this. Thanks to Dave for the Harmonica.
This was done in the aftermath of an evening out with Lady Jane,The two Regs and Jip 1965 which left me in a state i may never recover from and come to think of it may never remember haha
Anyway thanks for a great evening in and out and......until…
Wrote this after hearing on the radio of a bloke who ran off to France with his underage girlfriend and guess what? he's doing time (asshole) Thanks to Lady Jane for backing vocals

Oh yes . . . I like that. It's really fun to see what comes from a collaborated effort. You end up with something with a whole new flavor.
Let's hear a little more of that.

Sounds like it belongs on Nashville Skyline...nice one, Greg!
Every now and again I just have to come back for a dose of Rosie. She just makes me smile.
Yeeeeehaw!

Good tune. Suits your style.
Oh yeah, that works for me.
I love the country twang sound... way to go!

Nice blend. I like the keyboard too.
Makes me want to pull that leisure suit out of the closet. Time to party. . . . .

You sound like you're having fun.
Better keep both versions. This one just bubbles along.
This one makes you think.
Very Pretty Song. I like this one Terry/
That's some fancy banjo picking. Good toe tapper!
I love that jews harp
This was Fun! I was taken by the song the moment I heard it. Great Songwriting Nick. Lots of feeling here.
Great Story Telling!
That's pretty.
Now that's the way to belt it out! So tell me . . . is it true . . . FDR sips on a beer while he's playing those licks? Nice combined effort guys.
Ooooh, that's good. Sounds like you might be having second thoughts about that "Sugar Daddy" thing. Sometimes those ladies have a way of changing your mind.
Nice tuning on the guitar. I like that harmonica too. You are sounding good Roger. This is a catchy one.
Sounds like you are keeping good company these days. It's another foot tapper!
Garlic Sound? Your friends sound a lot like my so called friends. I think you and Lady hit on something good. Very refreshing.

Nice easy song. I never would have guessed that you did the whole "writing / recoding" in such a short time.
I love it!
