No Idea where this one came from . . . .
Gone
I left you a note on your pillow
You will…
You know, you could write and record a bad song now and then, just to make us half-ass songwriters feel better about our own flops, but noooooo, you gotta nail it each and every time. Another Connor classic! Rock on!

Lyrics:
Old Country Songs
Wooden Chair by the window
Gibson on my lap
And the time I spend strumming
Is never coming back
The sun is shining on me
Evening won’t be long
I’m living in the city
Singing…
I was anticipating 3 times as much, 4 times as much... but then, you know, the mark of a true artist is knowing when to stop. Twice as much is enough for any man I guess.
all I can say is "oooo". Another good one, Greg. I think that you could've added some of your famous head shaking, though... right after the part about all your charms.
This is an invitation, with instructions, on how any AT musician can hop a train in the US and get to my house for a jam session. Figured the lyrics needed to mention all 3 of the collaborating musicians home towns cuz they all run along these…
Sometimes the oddest things inspire a song. This one, about a long-time friend and former bandmate, a consummate musician, who passed away suddenly last year... just leaped out after I read a Facebook post where a couple of mutual friends had…
For anyone who has ever lost a friend to depression and suicide - you might identify with the lyrics.
The Rain Outside (Vlad & Me - 2013)
The rain outside
it falls on my window
and slides to join
its' friends below
I saw your face…

I'm laughing out loud. You have some serious *ATTITUDE* going here!
I love it. Great Riffs, Great Tone and I think I even heard those testicles clanging in the wind.
THE WALK
I drove 400 miles that night
East of Dallas to Abilene
And the hopes that I held in my headlights
Were hopes like I'd never seen
She called me from work that afternoon
She said she'd be off about 2 AM
Said it would be nice…

Where this came from, I've no idea !!!! Had the music track recorded, no lyrics, then had the first verse. The rest was wrote on the hoof, as I recorded the vocal. Plus I'm a non-believer, Oh well, Have Mercy !!!
When he knows....... he knows.....Acoustic Electric & Harp..............
All i know (Lyrics)
I sit here cold
i sit here lost
knowing no where to go
don’t know who to ask
don’t know what to say
or do
all i know is i love you…
Here's a traditional American tune I first heard down in the Ozarks when I was maybe 5 years old. Just clawhammer banjo and vocals. The first verse is one I remember. I made up the rest. I was gonna go from coast to coast but I ran out of time…
Twenty Dollar Doctor is the second single released by Vinyette for their upcoming album Every Little Mouse Run! Watch the music video too! This is funky avant-garde rock!
A saucy little ditty from the Jip and LJ laboratory. The first thing I've sung for 3 weeks (been resting a very strained voice - eek!)
I'm having a party, I'm inviting everyone
There'll be much frivolity, booze flowing, so much fun
I may…
I jumped on Chunks tune from over on Songcrafters...Thanks Chunk
I can't go forward for looking Back (Lyrics)
she held her self open
she laid her self bare
she told me her dreams
show told me her dreams
she told me her dreams how i could…
I'd been following the Euro horsemeat scandal since it broke in the UK some time ago. But the songwriter in me didn't react until Ikea found pony in their Swedish meatballs the other day.

Enjoy! xox
P.S. I knew I'd seen it on here somewhere - it was uploaded by Jip under Third Quarter of the Moon :)
I found myself playing along with you on this today.
Did you, or Jip write this? It's beautiful.
By the way, It sounds good with fingerpick acoustic guitar back.
