Having another listen for that guitar sound :) Funnily enough, my SG and Explorer have swapped pickups (wonder if this had anything to do with it?). The SG has come off slightly better I think, been using it a lot last few days - slightly more, er, raucous than this, but it can do these sounds as well now.

So, it runs in the family I see. Another great composition - endearing lyrics, great playing (and I love the whistles conversing with each other). :)

Sweet hearts and guitars, that extra limb which grows with us until it has become us. love this one deeply Greg.

I hope you don't mind if I slap a track of acoustic lead guitar to this. Four bars into this and I was swiftly adjusting the tuning on my new Yamaha, and then... well, keep an eye and ear on your email.

Hey, everyone's getting into P90s! (Mine are in an Explorer - kind of an incongruous mix, but sounds great when when I can get up the strength to put it on!) The SG sounds FAB!! And it's a very cool song... all sentimental guitarists know exactly what you mean :)

Interesting take on a great old song

Lilting melody. I can feel myself on a reach with a gentle breeze.

Always one of my favorite songs. I used to play this in my High School Band. Ah those were the days . . . I had hair back then. You still do. Maybe that's why you can still play this song.

*"Did you miss that gravy train"* I love it, although it is a little dark. You might have to do the next song about puppies or daisies in the field to balance things out. Something with a 2/4 beat should do it.
