TERRY BROWN

Celebrating a lifetime of music
Terry Brown / TerrySongs http://alonetone.com/terrysongs/tracks
** I originally recorded this with a drum track, borrowed from another alonetone member, but the creator of the track never responded to my song. I suspect that he didn’t approve, so I removed the drums **
Terry Brown rolled into town
In a ’41 Plymouth almost
Dragging on the ground
Windows down
Just a boy in Sacramento Town
They came in from the east somewhere
No one knew, and no one
Seemed to care
Why they were there
Evening come, music filled the air
Gather round, here me play
Play and sing the days away
Tune the fiddle, look my way
I’ll strum along that old time way
He grew up in folky time
A banjo, guitar
Strumming all the time
And then some rhyme
All that playing, barely made a dime
Them fiddlers they would start to sway
Terry Brown strummed rhythm
While they played
Music ballet
Singing words to songs he’d written just that day

Love the harmonies! Great sentimental feel. Really nice
I don't think drums would have been right for this number. It's GORGEOUS! Nice touch on the banjo -- really good stuff!
How gorgeous!
Fabulous!
Lovely song and liking the banjo a lot too.
