words by The Goods,E.G. & K.G. . music by me M.F. . our preferred rpm track . this song is about a coward and what he has coming, based on an assault of one of our loved ones. you can hear the anger. that is cool!
This as kick ass as an old B.O.C. or original Alice Cooper Band tune. That's pretty bad ass company. And I must say that was a tasteful & amusing bit of self-censorship with that well placed guitar bite. Tough track, for sure.
Thirty seconds in & I love the funky loose (kind half-drunk) vibe of this... woah, so familiar yet not derivative feeling... love these changes! Excellent vocals!
K.G. wanted to write a "good times" song and i think he hit this one out of the park. here in indy the highway does a big loop around the city. add some fun and music and that equals a rockin' good time.
Dig that fuzzy guitar tone! I wanna write some rockers like this, but am really lacking in the rocking drum kit dept. Gonna have to see what I can do about that.
Everything tightens up very nicely by that second guitar solo around three minutes in.... and the fuzz gets even fuzzier! *Nice*

K.G. made gold with this one. words are oh so good. J.H. broke away from his bass and added a very nice banjo part. i did a little clapton bending . i think this is a magical moment for our band. we all came together at the end and did it! i hope…

i tell K.G. that this one is like the allman brothers and bruce springsteen doing a tune together. another kick ass K.G. tune. we played this thing alot and nailed this take live!
releasing my inner ozzy and tony iommi. had lots of fun with this one. started as a little middle of jam practice thing at the end of january. boy it took off. the whole band live on this one! this song is dedicated to Moschell, who motivated…

just some messings around from last febuary.never really finished. kind of trippy i guess. gearing up for this RPM and looking foward to getting together with the band.
another one from last RPM season that never got flushed out. we do play this regularly in practice and have played it in a few gigs as a intro jam for the second set. kind of reminds me of neil young meets the allman bros.
There are things I cannot do without x2
And if I ever run out of the things I cannot do without
I'll run to the nearest 'things I cannot do without' store
And I'll run in and I'll buy some x2
And if someday their running out
Of the things…
Are you in touch with your past?
Do you remember before?
Are you scared of this world?
Are there locks on your door?
Is there anyone here,
who can prove that they are?
Are we anywhere near
To having too far x2
Are we anywhere near?
Are you…
Third of possibly four songs written either just before or during Hurricane Irene's visit to New England. This one seems a little too busy and the mix feels funny, but I think it would be fun to play live if I ever get myself back into a band.
Started out be an innocent little jazzy study in quartal harmony, but the DL4 was still in my signal path and things went downhill from there! Another done with my beloved '58 Stratotone
In memory of my cousin Mike, nicknamed Shovel Head, because of the Harley Davidson Shovel Head motorcycle he drove.

Lean into that winding road
Setting Sun against my skin
Shift into that high gear

Reg has never really understood Love.......... not in last 20years since first hearing this song .........it's still all a Mystery to him................
The energy levels were at an all time high this weekend when Bon and jimi turned up down the Cellar for a session. Here's a little something from the session........... Reg'n'Roll...other Reg really blisters the guitar on this one
OH WHAT A…
here's the lyrics:
Inside a casket, ... broken dreams
six feet under, it starts to leak
six feet over he gets a whiff
assembles the puzzle piece by piece
on salty water a thought is born
sailing regardless of a coming storm
the mast is broken…
This was written during the challenge in february and was meant to be the title track. But I never really got time to develop it. I still like it though, so I thought I'd cut it rough, leave it undeveloped, and chuck it out there to see what you…
I took a week off work to do some music, and what with the riots, and a huge alcoholic binge having massively negative effects on my hedmeds, I haven't felt an ounce of creativity/positivity. rather pure misery. so i didnt even bother trying Monday…
dont mean to sound morbid... this will be played at my funeral. your take on the song is freaking out of this world. beats and organ/guitar riffs are incredible and vocal is inspiring. i must get off my butt and write now. thankyou alex moody!
