"fooled by the opposite image" ...that's a bad thing right? Sorry I did say I was taking a break from making music as you can hear in my latest uploads that I haven't been putting much into these tracks. However I am working on something much much bigger, yes something larger than a pile of elephant dung.

The first song we recorded a couple years ago for our band which went under Cryptic Nothings until we found out there was another band of the same name. Name changed to Nail of The Sun (i think) though we don't do shit together anymore.
A few years ago I was introduced to the song "Wake Up" by Mad Season. So I'll tell you I stayed up all freakin' night listening to that song and getting inspiration. The original version of this song had Rhodes piano and what not.
this was titled "Cats Eyes In The Barn Tonight" and sadly didn't make it onto "The Haystack" rpm 2010 album. So a B-side for you that I remixed without the vocals, a second guitar track. And added other elements into it.
Post RPM Challenge song about one of my favorite drinks to whatever lyrics I wrote that was written after rpm 2009 but never recorded. Recorded guitars one day and added vocals the next. Cool tuning of B-A-D-G-B-D.
"Winston's Black Dog"
I could have made a great Prime Minister
Just need a good reason to be sinister
Give me an army, an enemy,
a great war --
and I'll deliver
Put me in the middle of nowhere
In the wilderness I'll survive
But in an air-conditioned…
john lee hooker, I SHOULD be listening to too much of him. I feel I leave out so much of the rhythmical aspects of the guitar. You can have a louder than drums sound from a guitar and if you can work your way around that there guitar you can definitely add more than what drums have to offer. Excellent song here Kavin. Cheerz.
Reg was out tonight on the dance floor doing his thing and saw this beautiful women doing her thing......well if that doesn't make a song what does?
YOU GOT SOMETHING I NEED (Lyrics)
Baby you got something about you
You got something special…
(RPM 2011) For obvious reasons, many RPM albums make use of improvisational sound collages. ;-) This is the first of three that divide the record into sections. You may or may not hear the connections in the lyrics, but it actually does make…
should correct myself, the ducking music behind vocal limiter instance had the wet knob at the 30 or so range. Anything higher makes it hard to sing and listen to yourself at the same time. I worked on a remix I'll get around to uploading when I return home.
Thanks the 3 of you. MTC, simple. I use Fruity Loops so I ran it through some stereo separation methods and a instance of the fruity limiter with the "ducking music behind vocals" preset, set to 50 percent so it has a bit of a delay too and threw on an instance of camelphat3 to filter out some unwanted frequencies and boost some stuff. I hope that makes sense :)
it's deafening to walk around
to walk around with no sound
it's calm before the storm they say
but I still hear you cursing your style and you way
and were waiting
waiting
waiting for the wayward song to begin
waiting
waiting for the wayward…
Thanks to everyone who have been commenting on my tracks with all the insight, nods, criticism, everything, period. You all make me feel welcome in my odd world of writing and recording whatever it is I like and want to. :) Alonetone Rawks!
there's a story to the story of the fuzzy years of my life.
Unfinished song, just one progression looped really so far with words to the story.
it's "always the top of the street somewhere" was a phrase we used to describe how no matter what…
Hello all. I'll be moving this weekend. It may be awhile before more activity shows up on my page. I am not sure how I am going to be able to set up recording where I'm moving yet but I should be able to come and check this website and keep in touch. Cheers. Maybe I can squeeze out another track before I move. lol
This is a recording of Norm and me playing together a few months ago. I didnt have any percussion instruments so Norm was on a Roland electric trap set and I had a cello. I looped some of the stuff we did that night, and retrofitted the rest…
I have a dog named Daisy, lol along with 3 others. haha sounds like me calling my dog. little lhasa apso. and I'm moving out soon so she will be over the hill and far away.
I walk 13 miles of barbwire just to sing my song
I walk 13 miles of barbwire just to sing my song
I walk 13 miles of barbwire just to sing my song
I walk 65 miles all along
I walk 13 miles of barbwire just to sing my song
I walk 65 miles…
I know and those vocals are a but painful :P ...52? was it in a song? I seem to have listened to loads of music in my life and it's probably jumbled in the back of my mind somewhere and write something and think it's original. lol thanks people

Fine energetic drive. And don't workout too much, keep pleasing us with your musical efforts...
"does it fit like a glove, does it give you love does it give you all that you want...dun dun dun end up on the sofa" Brilliant!!
Cool groove! Vox sound a bit Elvis at times! :)
I like each of them for different reasons... What happens when you blend 'em? I'd like to hear that.

thank wrinkly brotha...tried my best to refrain from doing some Ian Astbury like-vocals. Sounds so 80's The Cult to me.
loooooove these vocals. wow. awesome
buckle up, hold on to your seat and road raging to the beat. I <3 this stuff. Wow yeah headphones help a lot while listening
how did I miss this one, love that rhythm, synthy feedback possibly ocean harp sound and the softly subliminal vocals.
