You guys captured that feeling of driving dog tired...the guitars give that feeling of an endless road night. Very nice.
Sorry to here about your friend Dave, God bless.

Oh this hangs together very well... VERY well. Really interesting arrangement - all the different parts shouldn't really go together... but they fit seamlessly.
Love it.
I like this one a lot. Gotta get me a banjo, or a mandolin, or both!!
You realise you're gonna have to get a fiddle as well now? (Or have you got one already!).
Fine track. Love those falling chords.
Now thats a complex picking pattern. You voice is perfect with the sound of the guitar. Sounds like an electric guitar on a very clean amp setting, real nice. Nice and echoey.
The title pulled me in and the wonderful guitar kept me rapt until the end. Real flipping nice song, I've got a shiver up my spine from this, deep lyrics. Fab.
I'm tired now, and I think I'll take a few days off from RPM. I need one more tune and that shouldn't be to tough to do.
Thanks everyone,
I'll be in touch soon.

sorry for the silence
i'm not ignoring you.....

I'm not sure if this is rockabilly or late 40s jump R'n'B. Dance music though. I had fun with the lyrics and the backing vocals.
This is now a tidied up version 18/3/09
A little rough but I loved making it.
My friend Dave had bought a Roland GR-20, so it was critical he did the solo in the middle and end :)
Oh, all made on the Boss Micro BR. Love that thing!!
This was fun to make!
After I read into RPM and understood that anybody could take the challenge, I joined up. I'm starting with a clean slate, so I hope I can finish! This a WIP of the first tune I'm working on. Everything I do will be recorded/produced with the Boss…

Not come across this tuning, not sure how it gets played, can't imagine it. Might have to give it a go. You seem to know what to do with it, though!
Good work guys. Very effective guitar track and mighty fine vocal from Hooky :-)

Wow, beaut, great picking here.
Nice sounds, nice mood.
Could be a great blues-rock style song about a guy who lost something really important, and he can't get past the pain.
Nice old country feel, its like hearing a song on the wind as you are out driving on a lonley road heading to nowhere. Nice harmonica, nice.
Real nice song, different in a good way.
