This is an answer to the question posed to me by Bethan Mathis. This is how I've been feeling this week. I'm okay. I've just come to the realization about the rhythm of life.

Right back at you .... "Been there, done that".
Sometimes I think that the more different we think we are, the more we're just the same, or at least our situations seem similar.
I guess that's the long way of saying that I can relate to your song.

This is a song about losing a friend. It was written after I attended her funeral. I am the type of artist given to bouts of self-examination, and this song is a result of one of those bouts.

Here's another one with the honkey tonk style of piano. I wrote this song some time ago using my usual mix of guitars, then decided to see what it might sound like using the piano. The new instrument gave the song an entirely different sound…
Sam did a great job on this song. Both the lead and backing vocals are hers. The song could use a little editing, but I thought you'd all like to hear it anyway.
Enjoy.

Keith Landry used his considerable vocal talents on this song, and he made a decent song sound great. I added one or two harmonies, but the lead vocals are his. I think he did a great job. What do you think?

Time for a little humor. I had my wisdom teeth pulled last year, and the pain was debilitating. When I got the right pain meds, I felt so much better that I wrote this song. Colin added his considerable vocal talents and his harmonica and brought…

Thanks ER. I can relate to this track. I seem to be in a continual state of self examination. Never quiet sure of my footing in the life. It does make for good tunes. Just remember to keep at least one foot on the ground, and dangle the other over the edge. Sorry for you loss and take care. -JG

Thanks for the listens ER. Glad you enjoyed my improv...I have been trying different ways of doing hammer-ons in different tuning. Some of the parts in that kind of reminded me of percussion more then guitar. :)
Girls! Women! Birds! Chicks! This song's about all the pretty girls out there (and you know who you are)! This song celebrates each and everyone of them.
While the name of the song is a Spinal Tap reference, this one is almost a period piece, taking us back to the early 80s when record players and mixtapes were how we listened to and shared our music.
This song's about getting reacquainted with your ol' guitar after neglecting it for a few years.
Back in 2006 our band started working on writing and recording music for our project, TheSongOfTheDay.com where we released one song for each…
Like this one, too. You need bass and drums to go with this to make it really take off IMHO. But free advice is worth exactly what you pay for it! Nice song.

I have enjoyed listening to your songs. They are mostly laid back and relaxing to the ear. This one makes good use of the organ as the main instrument. I also like your use of multiple vocals.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks to Mike Brown for lending a hand with the lead parts.. despite trying his damnedest not to! Also thanks for MMI for the advice which in part at least, I took!
I'm gonna call you dirty from now on in x2

Just letting out my frustration at 'people' in general again.. nice to be able to vent it in a more pleasant way (for those interested in how I used to do it, please see http://alonetone.com/boynamedsu) :)
Lo and behold now holy guacamole if…
Very nice, sir. And I agree. Sometimes I tend to overdo songs too. You were right to do the harmonies and leave it pretty much as it is. Excellent song.

Looks like you got your anger out on this one. I know the feeling. Well done. ER
