Weeds growing on the school yard lawn
Where has everybody gone
The chairs are stacked
And the stage is dusty
And my strings are getting rusty...

I will miss you, now that you’re gone
I will miss you, as I carry on

I agree with Guest (47.189.109.204) - "you're not done with this one" - I think there's another version, somewhere between the original and this one. It's a gorgeous song.

Guest (47.189.109.204) said Thursday I love that you don't hold back and anything goes. I never know what's going to jump out of that brain of yours! Love the arrangement, the harmonies and nature! Fun and short. I think I could have gone a little longer, but I'll just play it, awgain or put it on a loop if it will let me!! Write on!!! Thanks for the share!! Connie

I wrote this song while out hiking some awesome trails in Zion National Park... gave me some excellent inspiration. I also tried some different stuff with the mixing and using my keyboard... so trying to push a few of my envelopes...

A quick song I made up out of nowhere, hence the title "Somewhere out there" LOL... Everything you hear is me apart from the drums, as usual. I hope you enjoy my bedroom recording... Warm regards, Anna
I got touched by an article I read about an Irish chap that saw a girl on a plane he fell in love with at first sight (ha, I never knew that existed !!!) He could not forget about her, so decided to do a “Sherlock Holmes” and was determent to…

Yousra Fouani Beautiful.
"Sweet." Deborah Andruscavage
"Insightful and beautiful." Rosemarie Kempton
Short but very sweet. I love these short ones with the almost throw-away lyrics that are SO full of meaning to the listener.

Perfect!!!!!! This captures our collective experience completely!!!
Great imagery! Who would have thought a year ago that we would have a summer like this?
Mrs R has pointed out that she knows of at least two other Londons... and that it might not be obvious I mean London UK!
Like it. Love this: "stage is dusty / my strings are getting rusty". We had to look up corn hole, though, doesn't get played a lot in South London...
i think it's time for a knap

And a new verse! I listened to all three versions again - this is the one (which is probably a good thing, as it's the latest!!)

I like what you do.
Digging it! Rock on. I would be adding a chant with this with cool harmonies...
What program are you using.

Takes me back to the late 60s.
Right up there with YOU GOT ME.

So lush. That 1968 vibe again. Is this several people or are you doing it all?
Welcome to our little family. What a big full sound! Very nice blend. Very interesting combination of sounds. It's very 1968.
ASK CODY! It's what he told me. We report. You decide.
intriguing story deserves further developement
That ELO comment was supposed to go here.
ELO all over the place.
Love the blend of voices. Very Beatlesque.
...and tell us more about yourself in the profile.
Please include the words. I want to hear every word. Beautiful.
Love the naked voices...harmony.
Beautiful...there are places the voice and instruments merge.
That's cool. Lots of layers. 3D.
