In the corner stands a guitar that plays only sad songs
Give me when a friend lost his wife
And this fine leather jacket came in a package
The day after he took his own life
In a bar down in Austin, he was drinkin' and boastin'

Jimmy, I like this one. You mentioned the other day, that you might consider adding some cello to one of your new songs... ??? This version is only 2:09... seems to me... there might be plenty of room for a few bars of cello instrumental to float around between the words! But you know me... I have often mentioned to you, how good some of your instrumentals really are... and I have often thought that you, yourself, under appreciate yourself... when it comes to your own instrumentals. Good song... JohnQ

I love the"Mistook Moon" song! Like one of your fans commented, it's both a story and magical! Definitely a sense of the magical. I relate to the voice of the song... my vision is so wonky these days, when I am riding w/ Greg or Shanna (my red-heaired daughter) I have had a couple of screaming scares (terrifying my driver) thinking an odd play of light and shadow was another car we were about to hit full speed! So I can understand, mistaking a train for the moon. Only for me it would have been reversed: I would have screamed and duckedin terror from the moon! Gwyn Henry

The lyrics are so descriptive and visual, such as the lipstick from NYC. Did you read about a suicide or make up the song from scratch? Jeff P

Nice electric guitar work on Every one I need to talk to. My favorite so far. Same with But The Sun. The lyrics and the melody. Nuno
I remember Johnny Broke An Axel. Loved it then. Love it now. Nuno
Honk: Nice little rocking riff. Sleepy Head: Nice lullabye. Nuno
The 4 shorts Dying's Not Easy, Miss Her, Broccoli and Kite. Like snapshots from and old camera turned to music. Nuno
All in all, a very good album. The melodies and harmonies blending together with the moody acoustic ad electric guitar. A very visual album. Nuno
